Good thing we didn't sell Zanetti and Samuel at 29.

Our defence is one of the best in Europe IMO. It’d be foolish to sell any of them.

Bitch all you want but right now our only option to get some big -ish money would be selling Brozo followed by a quality replacement. end of story. Any other one of our starters are irreplaceable, well maybe only Lukaku... Maybe.

The article in Italian also mentions there could be a possible exit for Skriniar as he would bring lots of millions to the club while Sanchez could also leave if Inter sign two forwards.

Oh ffs not this shit again.

We really need to upgrade our left flank and increase our options up front if we're gonna have a chance at retaining the Scudetto, Juve won't be push overs again.

I see the least problem selling any of our midfielders, even Barella. Good midfielders are everywhere right now. Defence shouldn't be touched and attack needs a +1 in any case, but if we sell somebody, two new players.

Unfrtunately, I can see this. Skrniar to be sold for something more than 50m. Bring a Milenkovic or Tomiyasu and LWB (Gosens) or an impactful midfielder (SMS, Locatelli). Marotta used to work in this way at Juventus and I believe Conte could integrate pretty fast a new defender in his set-up.
It doesn't mean I want Skrniar gone. I love the dude and his passion for Inter, but the club is more important than any player and if Marotta and co. believe this is the way, so be it.

Gosens seems like an impossibility tbh. Atalanta aren’t gonna sell him for cheap (to a major rival too boot) even if his contract is up next summer. Also he constantly talks about how he wants to go back to Germany. Atalanta might lose him for nothing.

Romano - Leicester are interested in Robin Gosens. He’s the main option as left back, talks on.

Now they can have Castagne on one side and Gosens on the other.

Summer prediction:

Cagliari buy Zappa, and he's part exchanged to Inter for Nainggolan

At least he's a Serie A player, but I doubt he's good enough for Inter, at least not yet.

I cant see any our deadwood going from direct sales but maybe we see some loan deals happening? Like Radja continue somewhere else at loan. Do not think we see any offers for Vecino, Gags, Sanchez, Vidal, Perisic or Eriksen. I also dont see them wanting to leave with those wages they currently get.

I have a feeling that Marotta and Zhang are hoping to see one or two decent offers for Skriniar, Brozovic or Lautaro and pump up our cashflow and then to make some new transfers.

I would sell Barella if good offer come and I think he would be easiest to replace at our current lineup.

I hope De Vrij, Bastoni, Skriniar and Hakimi would stay, enyone else can be sold if good offer come?

Not thinking of a very ambitious market. Here's what we can do.

GK - no change, maybe a new backup keeper
Spend - 0

Defence - no big changes, a new backup defender, maybe Vanheusden
Spend - <10m

Wingbacks - release Young, get Dimarco, keep Perisic.
Spend - <10m

Midfield - sell Gagliardini, Vecino, Vidal+Nainggolan (release). Sign a starting quality MF (de Paul/Locatelli), and a backup midfielder.
Spend - <25m (Gags + Vecino should fetch about 20m, and the mentioned MFs can be got for <40m)

Forwards - get Dzeko, sell Pinamonti
Spend - 0

Without Vidal, Nainggolan, and Kolarov, we free up good wages that can go for Dzeko and others. Overall, this provides more competition for starting spots, and good backups for all positions. This can be done with a spend of ~25mn based on how we deal.

No. No more washed up players from Roma. We keep laughing at them how they are bottling all the time, so why buy players from Roma then???

For one, Dzeko is a proven player who has won multiple league titles, as a key player.

Two, he would be happy with a rotational role.

Three, he works for Conte's system. He is a good finisher, can hold up the ball, can bring others in to play, is practically a complete striker. He can also partner any of our 3 strikers.

Four, he would be free.

He is declining, but his game isn't dependent on speed or attributes that decline drastically.

Unless Dzeko agrees to take a massive paycut or Inter manage to offload Sanchez, i can't see Inter signing Dzeko even on a free. We can't afford to have both Dzeko and Sanchez as backup options. Giroud is a more realistic option.

Nah fuck that. His wages, even after a "massive" pay cut, would still be in the region of €4m per season. The cunt looks completely spent. I don't want Dzeko or Giroud anywhere near this club.

Conte should've (but probably hasn't) learned a valuable lesson with his failed experiments of Vidal and Kolarov. Learn to trust and work with "not-Conte" players like Eriksen and Perisic and you might surprise yourself.

Maybe I'm disrespecting Leicester too much but what a disappointment that would be. The perfect example of "EPL appeal". Gosens deserves a better club.

Leicester has won the Premier League more recently than everyone except Chelsea, Liverpool, and City, and look to be in the Champions League next year. Meh, why not. Better than Spurs.

I agree with the not-conte players like Eriksen but Perisic didn't even want to be here from the beginning, especially on that WB role. But fuck what Conte wants, I rather put my trust into Marotta
