@browha

1st : Too much use of enter

2nd : I would agree with you if signing Rossi (on loan with option to buy) would mean not signing another forward but we can't be sure if this is true. In the way i see it , signing Rossi would be considered as a sacrifice for the future by the club who signs him and not as an investment to strengthen the team in mid term. To give an example i would prefer to gamble for Rossi and sign i don't know Gomez and Quagliarela with the remaining money rather than invest 20M on Ramirez.

3rd : He is 25 years old. There are plenty years ahead of him to fully recover. If Ronaldo managed to deliver all those years to Real after what he passed with inter i have hope that anyone can.

Everyone is unique. And Ronaldo - iirc - never had this density of injuries. If I remember, Ronaldo had it in different knees in a short period, I think Rossi are both in the same knee?

Rossi is huge risk, I fell sory for him but I really doubt that he will be the same ever again. Comparing him with Ronaldo isn't smart because there is huge diference.

To explain that on Footbal Manager language:

Ronaldo before injury:

Driblling 20
Finishing 20
Speed 19
Accelaration 19
Composure 20

Life story: he had a knee injury at age of 18, so injuries at Inter wasn't first in his life and he know it that he can come back. Expiriece.

Ronaldo after injury:

Driblling 17
Finishing 19
Speed 17
Accelaration 17
Composure 20

Life story: he is still strong in head because after PSV injury he still managed to win golden balls and everything so there is no reason to not do it again.

He was perfect striker before injury, world class striker is a weak word for him. The best and most complete striker ever. After injury he droped a litlle bit, dribling the most, changing direction etc. But still, he came just on world class level after injury. Still one of the best strikers in the world but he wasn't so dominant.

Rossi before injury was promising young striker, potential Italian star but not the best striker even in Italy:

Driblling 16
Finishing 18
Speed 16
Accelaration 16
Composure 16

After injurys that will drop, maybe finishing will stay but his speed, changing direction won't. How will his head react?

I am not a fan of this gambling.

Whilst I agree with everything you said... did you really need the football manager analogy?

Actually it's interesting way to see some stuff, in maybe 30 percent of things they get it right.

Actually few clubs uses their database too, if I'm not wrong Everton get the access before any club as they have some tie ups or they are Everton fans (something like that).

Now they are Watford shirt sponsors, so Watford might get first or second access to the database,

I'm not saying they don't, but to use it to model an injury imho is poor. For current /live player stats, yes. To predict how a player will perform after an injury, no way

Well, I don't believe that is correct.

The owners are Everton fans, that is true, and Everton have previously used it to scout for a left back (I dont remember who), but I don't believe they get any privileged access to it. Well, what is also true, is that clubs approach the guys at SIG and ask them if they can help them find a specific player.

Like I said, 30% they are corect in that things. How player will react after injury, how player will react in transition period (btw 16-21 yrs of age), if you play him more he will develop better but resuts wont be so good etc), how player slowing down with age hitting 32+, pretty much good too.

I don't know why but I really enjoy in FM from childhood. Now after instalation I just surf around, barelly playing any game.

Everton signed some sort of deal.

I would. Even if he chose USA as country, it wouldn't matter the guy has class. We all know it.
But it has to be really a good deal. Like a loan with a buyout with like 10million and we can decide if we keep him or not. If he returns from his injury and is like 2/3 of his former qualities he'd still bring a lot to this team.

any evidence they've ever signed anyone on the basis of it, though?

Not sure, but they get database before any club. That's for sure.

So we need 4 signings and probably all of them have a chance of being starters for us. And we have 16 days remaining.

Left sided defender:??????????
DM:???????????
Wing-forward: ?????????
CF:????????

No clarity what so ever. And now we cant say we are trying to buy players with a bag of chips or peanuts or whatever.

Inter are in desperate need of reinforcement in the midfield. Management knows this and it seems to be willing to make not one but two signings for the midfield. The latest name is Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano but also watch for Sandro, Fernando and Sahin (the least likely scenario) together with Nigel De Jong.

this one from CDS,,
thats like a miracle if at the end of mercato we get two new midfielder,,
even find one with "rigth characteristic" will not easy for branca

Respectfully disagree.

We need two Starters. DM + Wing-Forward.

CF: Pazzini swap, likely with Quagliarella.
Left Sided Defender: Maybe if we have any money left over, otherwise not a big deal.

I cant see us going for players we need.

Players we have been linked and signed have been so random that I have lost the faith in mercato team´s rationality.

Maybe if Strama has power to get the players he wants. But he is so young and unexperienced for a coach so it will be just couple of random players that gonna come. All we can do is just hope that they are good.
