I don't, what did Oraili exactly do with us?

So our grand deals like JC, Maicon, Cambiasso, etc... Which ones were done by Oraili and which ones were done by Branca?

branca took over in 2005, oriali was in charge for about 5 years before him, i'm too lazy to check exactly which year those players joined inter but i'm pretty sure maicon was a branca transfer

It's not only about who he got...but the way things were done and what kind of person he was. Lele was a true thug, that didn't take shit. We sorely miss someone like that in our management...lately the yes men have done nothing but suck on them balls they are so good at doing. We need that edge back.
...and mind me add,he is a true Interista in n out!

Again,we already had this discussion...branca is involved in transfer dealing for inter since 2001.

i find that hard to believe because he was still a player in the 2000-01 season

but the point is that oriali is shit at transfers

eyes.and then we had to over pay for him to get him from roma.Typicall inter deal:)

Yes but was also involved in selling pirlo to milan and the seedorf-cocu swap.

Having oriali back would be good but someone you acting like he is God and Branca is shit is pretty hilarious. Lele has as much if not fuckups during his time in inter's transfer team and he also had much more money to play with early on then branca has ever had to play with.

Yeah, Oriali was around when we bought the megastars, nothing wrong with that, but it would be nice to get one or two Patos, Thiago Silvas, Kakas, world class players who are bought for good money, but are worth it, as they play key roles for 7,8 seasons.

FERGUSON ON RIO FERDINAND

"Rio's almost 33 and he's obviously lost a yard of pace he had five years ago but that doesn't mean he can't tailor his game in a different way – where he used to rely on pace, he doesn't do that now, he can't do that any more.

"We've all faced that decisive moment in your careers when you realise you have to change your game. I did it myself as a player … Rio will do the same and he will be fine."

I am scared how many Ferdinand's we have in our team and our manager, president and transfer guru Branca are so calm about that.

FFP means Stankovic, Motta, Lucio, and Chivu are fast enough, haven't you heard the Moratti fans the last few mercatos?

Oh wait, FFP only applies if you QUALIFY for Europe, my bad.

Good point. We have too many Ferdinands. We are the oldest team or first XI in CL. Have you read, older than Milan from 2007.
Our management must wake up, be smart and spend wisely. Are they capable? We need at least 4 new players, to remain competitive.

Remain competitive we stopped being that last year and basically gave up when we sold Eto

Kjaer, Pjanic, Gago, Bojan, Lamela ... I played FIFA 2011 last night and I was so jelous on Roma. They have transfer strategy, clear and simple. Buy young, talented and not too expencive. For a couple of years with a good coach they will be sensation and ready for new financial rules.

20mil for Lamela, yea not tooo expensive. 40m clause for Bojan or is it 30m, yea not too expensive. Pjanic maybe a good buy, we are yet to find out. Kjaer has been decent but still they have the names, whether they perform or not is an entirely different story. If they actually have to keep all of them(2-3 loans to be made permanent) they have to spend in excess of 75mil!

Wasn't Lamela like 12 mil? I really have no idea, I have read anything from 12 to 20.

And Pjanic was a good buy tbh. Bought for the same price as Ricky and actually contributes. He has 5 assists already.

Lamela was overpriced @ 20mil. But the kid is real talent and is already showing something on the pitch. He's showing speed, determination and great technique. All this after an injury and coming from Argentina league and "needing to adjust" to Italy. Way better than Ricky and that is fact.

Honestly, it is useless talking about other teams transfers. Inter fans have a tendency to way overrate our transfers and way underrate opponent transfers.

People will say we have to "wait to see" if Pjanic is a good transfer, whilst in the same breath, will say Alvarez is a good transfer

And sometimes people overrate opponent transfers. Grass is always greener on the other side and shit like that.

Sir Alex Ferguson said:
Sometimes you look in a field and you see a cow and you think it's a better cow than the one you've got in the field," "It never really works out that way. It's probably the same cow and its not as good as your own cow. Some players like to think there's a better world somewhere else. It never really works."

Something related ;)

Alvarez is a decent player, will adjust and take longer to adjust. I have faith in him. Pjanic has the advantage of playing in Europe and at a higher level. But sometimes people will hate :eek:blivious:

We need him to be more than decent. Unfortunately the only player we've signed in the last 2 years that can be described as anything more than 'decent' with a straight face is Pazzo.
