I've had the same thought of actually compare Milan and Inter lineups. I mean their campaign have been impressive, no doubt about that but the starting level of them compared to Inter was fucking abysmal. So them making a great transfer campaign only brings them to our level or close to it.

I wouldn't call them being automatically BETTER than Inter at the moment. We have a proper coach now who will surely get more out of these players we had last season. We had abysmal season but not abysmal player quality level. They've been one year together compared to Milan starting lineup which have like what, seven (?) new players. That counts for something too (hopefully).

And Inter transfer campaign is just heating up, we gonna have new players in the August. Bit late but that's the name of the game apparently.

I have patience. But every day the news is getting worse and worse

Like I said we still got time to rectify it and make some good dealings, but its looking increasingly unlikely with most good players off the market and the likes of Nagatomo and co still here. I'm just stating facts.

No, I understand where you are coming from the media will drive you insane and now its even worse with sabatini not likely to leak or confirm any names, but it takes one transfer to turn things around one big name for us to get excited over so I would rather concentrate on watching the subtle improvement in our play recently and let the market deal with itself.

Yes I think we need to be a little more nuanced in our evaluation of the "crap" players that we all seem to refer to in our squad:

1. players who don't have the quality needed to be on a top 3-4 serie A team with CL ambitions: nagatomo, biabiany, etc.
2. players who have quality but struggled last season but are clearly not shit players: k-dog, joao Mario, candreva, jovetic, murillo, gabi etc.

I think us Interisti look at last season as a bad campaign but we dont realize the level of shit storm from Terrible Preseason, Mancini Quitting, De Boer Vs Squad/ Vs Media/ Not Implementing his football, Icardi and his book shit storm, A bunch of new signings trying to play together, Gabigol saga, Pioli coming in and having a win then losing streak. I am sure there is a lot to add I would say maybe one of our most unstable season in a long time and BBilan finished one point above us. I expect a much more united Inter this season. I think we will all be surprised.

The only reason you think this is our worst mercato since long time is Milan Mercato, which is really great, but let me remind you that in last mercato's, we got players for big money and they got nothing, now its their time to spend and they need it more than us, we have already have good players.

there is more than a month untill 1.9, be petience. I have good feeling about this mercato, we're all gonne be surprised.

Milan have had a great transfer window, but they needed to given their squad was complete shite and now its pretty decent. Only Bonucci from the milan team is an upgrade over ours (and possibly Conti or Rodriguez if Dalbert doesnt arrive).

I'm just not happy with the signings we have or are rumoured to have as I expected players of a higher calibre arriving. Maybe that will happen later. Also the fact remains that turds like Nagatomo etc are still here.

Puddle - If it was up to Vidal, transfer to Inter would be feasible: Bayern Munich is not of the same idea

Pedulla - Conte has sought Candreva, contacts between Nerazzurri player and Chelsea coach

Pedulla - The Inter idea in the attacking department: Keita and Di Maria, can reach a third element with the sale of Perisic

I really dont know Skriniar well, but since Romangoli joined Milan he's not good at all. He has great potential, and maybe next to Bonucci he will become one the best in Serie A, but right now he isn't more than average.

Conti is better than DD for sure. This is a player wh should have get at all costs.

Conti only wanted milan, inter did put an offer on the table. Also remains to be seen how good he is as a rb instead of a wingback.

I have a feeling Sabatini & Co aimed too high. They targeted players like Nainggolan, Vidal, Sanchez, Bernardeschi, Manolas, etc. And completely fucked it all up. Now the "silence" is deafening and its probably panic mode to rescue the summer. As usual. I think we will end up paying the ask for Dalbert, Vecino and Keita just to save some face.

The fact that we haven't been able to shift the likes of Biabiany, Nagashit, Medel, Frog, Jojo, Santon, etc says it all really. We aren't even able to sell Brozovic who is on low wages (1.5m) and should be on high demand.

I dont see a reason why Bayern would sell Vidal and why Vidal will want to come. on the other hand, why would Bonucci want to join Milan?

I have a feeling Sabatini & Co aimed too high - they talked up this mercato and all this "working in silence" bullshit coz they were targeting players like Nainggolan, Vidal, Sanchez, Bernardeschi, Manolas, etc. But these are tough deals to close in our situation, and for various reasons none of the deals worked out. On the other hand, Milan had time to plan and execute a smooth campaign making headlines every other day.

Now the pressure is on, and its probably panic mode. As usual. I think we will end up paying the ask for Dalbert, Vecino and Keita. And probably a bunch of kids. And thats it.
Panic mode? we are in July, there's is more than a month for Mercato. I know its fun to complain about our Mercato and to make our rivals perfect, but this is not the situation.

somehow, i have a feeling rummenigge would sell the player: he's a bit nuts, around 30 of age, costs a lot. and they have james rodriguez now.

to me, it's just that son of a bitch ancelotti who doesn't want to let him go.

why would he want to come, you say? it might be false that he wants to come, but if it's true, consider he spent some years in italy, maybe he just misses the Country or likes it better than germany anyway.
we are offering him more or less the same amount of money he earns there, maybe even something more.

I would sell both Candreva and Perisic, to raise fund then switch to 4-3-1-2:
Handa
Aurier-Miranda-Skriniar-Dalbert
Vidal-Kondo/Vecino-Gags
Valero
Icardi-Keita
something like that...basically it is a trade of Vidal-Pero and Candreva-Keita.

I rather aim for the moon and get burned then aim for just adequacy. Inter should never settle for anything but the best...

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the friendly match between Inter and Bayern will be an opportunity for Inter’s leaders to speak with the those of the German club for Vidal. The player has already said yes to Inter but Ancelotti is not convinced to let him go. For the Chilean midfielder Carlo was very clear: “Arturo Vidal will stay with us 100%”

The injury of Pedro, have increased the chance that Conte will try again for Antonio Candreva like he done in January. Conte really likes the Italian winger.

I hope both transfers happen but if I had to choose one I'd certainly choose Candreva to Chelsea.

Isn't there a clear conflict of interest with Ancelotti feeding Milan and blocking transfers to Inter? Rummeninja do your thing.
