I'd just hold on before going in on Keita. This last week of mercato is going to be insane, a lot of players could become available and in my opinion we need a better RW simple, Candreva just isn't good enough. So we could have several options

1) Alexis Sanchez situation: he's fed up at Arsenal and Wenger just subbed him off. Man City seem to be the only team interested in him...if he goes there City are going to have an abundance of wingers. There's a chance we can get someone like Sane who I rate extremely highly

2) Mpappe situation to PSG, it's looking like this will happen: This means Lucas or Di Maria could become available

3) Mahrez: I don't know what's going on with him, he's made it clear he wants to leave. I feel like we should go all in on him

Of course it's easier said then done until you remember we actually have no money, so we can only get these on loan with obligation to buy :megusta:

Lucas Moura is most likely going to Monaco in the Mbappe deal.

I think Leicester are looking for 40 million for Mahrez, not sure how our situation is considering we can't offer it up-front.

Sane is good going forward but loses the ball easy and cant defend. The only two players I can see we getting as attckers are Keita or Schick.

In an absolute way, in the middle he could bring athletic presence, thing that we are lacking desperately. We all saw at Roma that it was difficult.

I think this damn mercato was the crappiest we've had in years. I think Suning have made themselves look like idiots this summer, there's no difference between what they did and what fucking Thohir did in his sophomore/junior season (can't remember) . I don't believe that stuff about government imposed restrictions so bla bla bla. You mean to tell me they don't have a way of handling shit outside of China? That is fucking laughable. So what the fuck does that mean? We are going to be shopping like a mid table team from now on eh?

Whose head will roll if we don't make CL this year? watching the fallout or success of this season will be great entertainment eitherway.

i get that if there are limited resources and a choice is to be made, mustafi and keita (or someone in htose positions) should most definitively be prioritized, but i don't get deep the sissoko hate here.
i do not know him except for national France games, so i don't have a personal opinion, but most other sites rate him quite high, and he was valued over 30 M just last year, so since you guys since to know him much better, what is wrong with him? why do we not want him?
