What Inter giveth, they taketh away. :( I had a bad feeling about this game soon as we beat Juve because it's always like Inter to completely shit on it's fans after a huge win.

Mancini seems to be still making mistakes in his first year which is forgiveable but lets hope he learns from them in the future. Because if he doesn't....... well I really don't have to tell you what will happen.

Just saw the goals on TV now, and you can see my previous post but switch the name Mihajlovic to Materazzi instead. Especially the second goal is due to Materazzi playing ridiculous positional defence. Had he been positioned correctly or moved up slightly, we would have put them offside.

Our first goal conceded seemed like a typical Inter goal to concede. A cross from the flank where the players are in a complete mess when they are supposed to mark.

Leave mancini alone...its his first year, he could not prepare team because he came too late....and finally what does mincini have to do with martins missing in open goal????we were unlucky so lets try to win Coppa Italia this year, because it would bring us confidence...

Well Miki it's easy for you to criticse him from where-ever you are, Vietnam or where-ever but what I'm saying is, Mancini is not perfect so we can't hate him for every mistake. He fielded a quality team, besides the LB choice we can't really criticse him.
Wherever in the world did you get that from? Is Miki a common Vietnamese name?

If you must know, my post was never a critical one of Mancini. All i'm saying is, you just can't keep blindly supporting him without taking note of his deficiencies. And he does have them. I love Mancini for all he has done, but i can't simply overlook the areas of his coaching style that really need some working on.

Milan and Juventus have more in common with each other than they do with Inter... I know this, but Milan and Juventus win more scudetti than Inter don't they? I think we should become more like Juve and Milan so we can win a scudetto, dont you agree?
I think you greatly misunderstand my point. I said they have more in common with us in relation to the fact that you tried to bring up their losses and subsequent lack of acclaim for their relative coaches to quit. Inter on the other hand has always had a history of fans who have never been satisfied and adopting fickle attitudes. Your bringing up this point is quite irrelevant to your previous statement detailing the fact that their fans do not call for resignations while ours do. Of course we have won less and we desire more - this is exactly why our fans are more demanding than that of Milan's and Juve's.

Mancini will deliver us CL spot, end of story. If Mancini doesn't win us Coppa Italia I'll be annoyed and we'll evaluate the situation then. But you can't compare a round 33 fixture when we have virtually nothing to play for to winning a cup. Even if it is a stupid cup which nobody really cares about we might as well win it. As Mancini said recently, "winning helps you win".
What i was trying to say was, would you still support Mancini without understanding that the man isn't a perfect coach? That's all.

The circumstances surrounding every game means that some are more important than others. However, despite the "winning helps you win" mentaility, the flipside often plays out true as well - "mistakes compound mistakes". Given the extremely fickle nature surrounding the fans and management of this club, Mancini could do better to avoid finding himself in an uneasy position.

Mancini is our coach, I don't think disliking him will do us any good, he has his reasons for his decisions and sometimes we are unfortunate. :)
Was your whole response an attempt at defending Mancini? If you must know, it was a valiant but ultimately unnecessary one because i never advocated a changing of coaches. All i was trying to say was that Mancini is a coach that has some problems and being far from perfect. If we are to accept his good points, we cannot turn a blind eye to his bad ones as well.

Ciao,
Tim

But hey guys, many here would have done just the same! I know, you're gonna say "I don't want Inter to sack him". Still, whenever we lose, it's always his fault.

The assumption today is: Mancini used a different team = Inter lost.
Who are the people who solely blame Mancini for all the losses?

I don't blame him for the loss, but the way things are going...I seriously think we're just waiting for the iniviteable in some regards...for gods sake he seriously needs to a XI...
Poor experiment didn't work, but he should've stuck by it until the very end of the game, what was the point in taking players like Emre, Kily off and puting Stankovic at left midfield, again!!
How succesfull has Miha/Matrix been this season? Why not play Ze Maria at right back, Javier at left back..Cordoba and one of the buffons next to him, Stan at right mid...Martins partnering Cruz...4-4-2...balanced team.

FFS!
We'll get over it, but now we have to look behind our shoulders, which is annoying.

We should care, because we want to keep our champions league qualification entrance.

If we are too win and score more goals, Martins needs to step it up a bit might sound harsh but its the truth.

Those that see Mancini as a perfect creature should relax a bit and admit he makes mistakes.

When would he ever learn that trying to build the team around Veron and Stan is disasterous, didn't he do enough by knocking us out of the CL with this experiment of his?

4-4-2 worked fine with ZM as a RW. But it seems he isn't satisfied, he wanted to jumble this weird formation around and try and convince himself that somehow Veron can co-exist with Stan. Stop it Damn it, it's MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.

ZM -- Cruz is proving to be a great weapon, Cruz's height has to be exploited, and I just love ZM.

The ref was punishing us it seems, how dare we beat Juve. Rezaei was fouling Materazzi clearly and in front of the ref, it should've been a penalty. Then, Martins got clotheslined by the same guy and the ref didn't blow a whistle.

I don't know how can we call ourselves a big team and play Miha and Matrix at the same time? Whoever conjures up this duo should be arrested. And then he keeps Coco as his prisoner, I just want to knock into Mancini head at times and see what's there?

Finally, this loss was brought to you by Marco Materazzi. Marco Materazzi, leaking goals and screwing up defensive plays since 2004. Marco Materazzi: When bad meets ugly.

True about Materazzi, he can play the odd game really good but most of the time he's rubbish.

If you people care to look at the team sheet on the official site you would see that Favalli was not even on the bench, therefore he wasn't able to play for some reason, propably a minor injury(or maybe some people will now claim even Favalli got into a row with Mancini  ). The team functioned well in the first half, except for the left side. Kily sucked and it is obvious now he won't figure in Mancini's plans next season. I know he was injured fo a long time but Inter can not afford to wait for him to regain form.

This lack of a good left-footed player on the left flank is seriously limiting Inter's options in the attack. The whole left side needs a re-shuffle in the summer.

Also, I can't believe the attitude of some people here. One defeat and all of a sudden, Inter is going to finish 5th. Get a grip FFS!!!!
