According to italian media Milan Skriniar is our target number one for the CB spot at the moment.
ANSA says that there is a agreement. Samp gets 17 Milions + Rano and Caprari for loan!

watching this it seems like he is also good on the left back, this is maybe why he is interesting for us consindering that we need a CB + a left back.

At this point, anything over Murillo, Medel and Ranocchia is an upgrade.

I do like the fact that he is left footed. Left footed CBs are hard to find. Could be useful if we want to play with a back 3 especially.

yeah but could he please chance his first name? :eek:blivious:

seriously though, it's not going to be easy, Juventus are on him as well.

not saying it will be super hard but we need to work for this signing.

Well.. if he show us something good he can even start. With him and Murillo we have 2 players fighting for a CB spot. What makes people think that he is not ready? He made 36 Serie A games. Remember Murillo when he came at Inter without Serie A experience or even top club.

And lets be honest, we dont know if Rüdiger is better then Murillo. 40 Milion are too much for him. And there are not much alternatives, thats the biggest problem. There is surely a reason why we want someone like Skriniar and not tryed for someone like Musachio. It seems like we finaly are trying to get players who already played in Serie A. I wanted Manolas which seems impossible. If we dont waste money on Rüdiger we can still get a good left back (+ Skriniar), hopefully. Of course im dissapointed but this is how things are now, we cant change much. Maybe with CL things will change.

I think that we're actually paying him 12 million plus Caprari on loan ...

Explanation:

It goes cash 17 millions minus 5 million for taking Ranochia plus loan of Caprari

It's a good deal

How the fuck Juventus is after every player we are linked to? This shit is annoying.

Seems like a risky signing. Risky signings are fine at times, but as our new starting CB? Should we really go after a young CB who could end up as the next Silvestre just as easily as he could end up the next Mustafi

Apparently Samp paid 1 m to get him from Slovakia last year. How can he be a 20 m player after a year in a mid-table Serie A team, seriously?

Yeah, apparently all club we are dealing with thinks we would spend 20+ for some random players.
This guy looks slow tho, Ranocchia might be better than him :troll:

Getting Skriniar for 17m+Ranocchia+Caprari on loan when De Vrij is available for 25m. :palm:

Bayern style. They want to keep every talented player of the league from joining their rivals.

Rüdiger is also a risky singning, he is not much better then Murillo. De Vrij is also risky because of his injuries. We cant get someone better.

My point is the kid is playing at Samp. Not exactly a guarantee he can handle playing here, and it's not like he has been as impressive as someone like Caldara from Atalanta. We could go for a player like Wesley Hoedt who at least plays for a high pressure club, or we could sign Toloi from Atalanta who played in a better defence than Samp's and has played at a big club before. Plus, we could sign a player from another league. You make it sound like there is only a few possible choices out there

Btw I'm not advocating we sign Toloi over this kid or something

Sabatini does have a good eye for talent but tbh considering the resources we have at our disposal (media keeps building up the Suning bottomless pockets) I would rather get an established talent then gamble. Our best signings with the exception of the Icardi have been players with experience, just look at Juve they have a core of older players who are their sure starters but then they have kids who are part of the team but not immediately thrown into the fire.

Do we really have a high transfer budget though or it's just media bs? I am not so sure anymore. Most of us believed media reports about Inter having 100+m transfer budget. But so far we're not exactly splashing out money on the players we want. Sure there are FFP restrictions till the end of the month but that wouldn't stop us from verbally agreeing deals. If the reports are to be believed we're either offering much less than the asking prices for our transfer targets or we're looking for bargains. Furthemore, Sabatini is known for making bargains. Maybe there's a change in Suning's philosophy and we haven't realised it yet.
