Mixed feelings about this guy.

Young, physically gifted, pretty solid defender. But there is a limit of where you can get as a player if you rely only on your physicality. Maybe because he wasnt given enough chance or maybe because of the three men defense, i dont know for sure what, but i always felt safer with De Vrij and Bastoni on the pitch. As is, cant put Skriniar ahead any of those two. Im baffled as well, but what Bastoni showed last season, is somethig that we clearly are not aware of the magnitude of epicness.

Dont want to take nothing from Skriniar, when we played with 4 men behind, in one on ones he looks like a god damn colossus. He has that hunger for forward runs, has some incredible pace once he has space to run...

I dont know... i am assuming it comes to football IQ, probably Bastoni and De Vrij have higher than him...

Just dont know what to say, but id rather we sell him for 50+ millions than keep him as rotational player.

Its funny, because neither de vrij nor bastoni are faster or steonger than him and yet they make it work better... fuck it

Yeah. That's what I meant by big balls on Marotta and Conte for banking on Kumbulla to replace Skriniar (and Godin). We are at different level and phase as a club now compared to the situation we took a shot with Skriniar.

Kumbulla on top of Skriniar would be the way to go, just get the loan shenanigans shorted out.

Honestly, Skriniar needs to step up big time or I can see D’ambro starting in the RCB spot most of thr season.
