Issue with this approach is if there is a deadline for our sales. If the ownership forces the sales, we cannot sell dumfries, devrijs etc. if the buyers are not there to buy right now. If we tell United, "we need to sell Dumfries within June" and United is like "okay, we won't do it in that timeframe", what we can do to that? Mercato window barely opened in EPL, hasn't opened yet in Italy and elsewhere.

What we need is a competition for Skriniar or any other big player if we NEED to sell some big player. PSG low balling is not something we want, just like happened last summer with Hakimi (at least a bit). Our demand was 80m according to rumors, we ended up with 60m+8m (+3m hard to achieve bonus).

On a more serious note, we all know Milenkovic is a good defender, but definitely not on Skriniar's level, and who is better with the ball is debatable.
Fiorentina defense also leaky last season, although their leakiness was due in part to their playing style last season.

Still, I doubt we could strike a deal with Comisso for 15 million. It will most likely exceed 20m.
