Statistically he was by far our most mistake prone defender so I’m not surprised at all.

It’s amazing how it all worked out too. Pavard > Skriniar

Had to be determined yet by Benji with his performances. What’s safe to say after last season and the start of this one is Darmian > Skriniar in that position though.

Another example of go for the money without any exception. No player we sold for big money lived up to his hype. Sadly we didn’t take the money when offered for Skriniar.

I mean it’s way too early to finalize judgments on either Skriniar or Pavard. I’m reasonably confident Benji will do well for us. Especially if we continue to play a back 3 for the foreseeable future.

Skriniar I’m not so sure about. PSG plays pretty aggressively when going forward. Him 1v1 against quick and agile players is not gonna work out well in his favour.

Skriniar was one of few most consistent performers for many years. He had his period of poor form but he wasn't prone to errors by no means. You're overreacting, at the same time lying to your own self.

We've had many defenders whom were prone to errors during banter era, but ever since Skriniar came, it was just another step towards building a competitive squad.

He might even fail at PSG. I don't care at all, but it's not fair to discredit his contribution that he's done here over years.
