if we don't win the scudetto, we wouldn't deserve it because of the fatone's disaster of a 1/2 season, not because of 1 game against bbilan
Of course, Rafa has wasted the half season but yet, this is a scuderby and it decides everything for me. Milan has tougher schedule and they will likely drop more points after the derby (if not surely), but however I'll be very upset if we lose in this game. I'm pretty optimistic and their results recently were poor, so we're favourite and let's avoid the 'disappointment'

this derby is only hyped/touted as a "scuderby" because of leo and how he has transformed our team. To neglect the work it took for us to get to this point is rather ridiculous. The derby doesn't mean "everything". It would be nice and be an ultimate "fuck you" to Milan e.t.c., but it is not everything.
Do you not remember Roma beating us last season to take the lead in the scudetto race, only to then lose to Sampdoria to have us regain the lead? There are just too many games left. A win here means NOTHING if we don't ultimately win the scudetto. Similarly, a loss here means NOTHING if we ultimately win the scudetto.
so imo, your earlier statement about "if we lose this game, we don't deserve the scudetto" is rather outlandish and ridiculous and places too much emphasis on this one game, when in fact, it was a 1/2 season disaster that put us in such a bad place, leaving many, many, many points to recover.

The important part is that Leo did transform us. It's not about having the right tactics all the time, even Jose didn't do everything 100% right all the time. It's about having the heart and determination we are showing. I know we are not consistent, but we are trying to play till the last whistle, we believe that we can change something till the last minute of the game. I give props to Leo for that, because it takes a great man, a great person to do what he's done and to earn the respect from everyone.
It's not about 'win the derby and have the scudetto in hands". It's about the fact that we came 2nd with 2 points less than Milan when everybody was asking me with a dose of irony in their voice "What spot is Inter finishing this year?" I never thought that we would be here after all that's happened this season. Luck or not, it's a great feeling, and yes luck is what guides you no matter what you do in life. Is Leo lucky? He is and i hope he is always lucky.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFI just realised that we have just passed week 30. Leo started to lead us at week 15. I'm just playing with a bit of maths here. From 16 league games have earned 37 points.
Let's say Leo was in charge instead of Benitez, if we double the score, it will be 74 and Milan will be 59 at this stage because they would have lost the first derby. If that actually happened, at this stage, we might win the scudetto if we beat Milan in the 2nd derby.
Whatever, we will win the scudetto anyway...
