James Harden got traded to the Rockets for Kevin Martin and Lamb. Don't like it from OKC perspective tbh but we gotta see

Its quite a win-win for both parties imo. Rockets could at least have a good season with Harden. While OKC potentially have very good players in the bench, and a few picks iirc.

I agree......but they weren't going to get an extension set up so they had no choice =/ I love Harden and I think OKC will miss him, but they got solid returns in terms of picks.

I feel Houston ripped them off. I know OKC had a tough time and situation, but I think Kevin Martin has been an overrated player for awhile. As you said though, we'll wait and see.

Any time you're trading a guy that everyone around the league knows is going to be a free agent within the year, you're not going to get back full value. After this season Martin will be gone just like Harden, but now they have Lamb and the picks. I would have liked to see them keep him and try to make another run this year, but ultimately Harden is not worth a max contract and I can't blame them for not giving it to him.

dont wet your pants on the picks ppl, they are protected.. Also OKC just lost its chances to compete for this year , the trade may be better in the long run but its not in the short run.
