Basically we blinked first and took Gargano because De Jong was asking too much. Now it was De Jong who had to blink because the time was really running out so he accepted lower salary.

TBH I'm glad we blinked first. I love gargano's speed and energy. Definitely more of what we need in our squad, it seemed like from the games I've watched this season, the players are more active on the pitch and are willing to move around. Last year our biggest problem was how static everyone seemed to be on the pitch.


De Jong would've been nice too, but Gargano is definitely a good pickup
