As far as I know the only three countries that are european and asian are Turkey, Russia and Cyprus. That's how they teached us in school about 8 years ago, when I was visiting a school with a tourism program.

It is true that some countries ain't a part of Europe, but they do play football under FIFA and UEFA.

I'm not one to give a shit about nationality or patriotism or any of that crap. I just didn't think it was out an outrageous claim as some people have suggested without really know any of the history or the culture.

It is a grey area with countries like Armenia, Russia, Turkey ect. But the fact the the BBC lists it under Euorope should at least suggest that it is reasonable identifying myself more as Eastern Europen rather than Asian.

I said you were wrong , because even in ancient history armenians lived in the eastern part of turkey. Even turkey today is not considered european by most of people.. I guess we can settle at mid eastern euroasian
