Hello my dear friends:
Davids is a 32 years old player and there's not a lot of clubs (at least one rich club) after him. So at 1st it's undrestandable that we can't get that much from his transfer and 2ndly I dounbt that he would accept Aany pay cut in order to go to another club.
We bought him as we thought that he would be useful but now that Cambiasso has done so great there's no need for him. In Persian there's a poem that says: Whenever you get a fish it's fresh" or " Stopping a harmful business at any point is a great Benefit"
It's not logical to keep a player who isn't needed and pay his wages as we can't sell him. 2 more years (or 3?) of his contract is left and there's no rich club after him. Releasing him would help the destenation club to get him and let us get rid of him. I'm sure that the Managers knows this and they had tried their best to sell him but it's impossible, considering Davids situation. Look how the managers are tring to get Samuel as cheap as possible.
Let's applaud our manager a bit too for the good things that they have done, like Cambiasso, Solari, Cesar, Veron, Karag., PIZARRO and others.

Okay, before we conclude that it was a great transaction we have to make sure we didn't pay an signing bonuses to him.

In North American sports, you pay a good free agent a signing bonus as much as his yearly salary.

I hope we didn't do such a thing and we only paid his first year salary.

Finally, this should be a lesson to our management to NEVER sign a player that the coach didn't want. I was happy to get Davids, but I had no idea it was a one-side decision.

Our management seem incapable of selling players. Some of these guys need to take a Business seminar or something.

Ha had still contract for 2 years of worth 3,5 mln euro for year.In Italia there is law that half of the mony goes to the governmeent as the tax.So in fact if he has 3,5 mln contract for year we pay 3,5 to him and 3,5 tax from this.

So 3,5 mln x 2 = 7 mln -that's what we would pay in one year
7 mln x 2 years =14 mln euro saved.

That's ,what I know.If someone has better info then please correct it.

Aren't you still wrong with your own given facts ??

You said that half the money should be given to the government as the tax, so half the money of 3.5 happens to be 1.75.

So, 3.5 + 1.75 = 5.25 for a year
5.25 x 2 = 10.5 for 2 years

Or did I get you wrong :)

:D :)

no, you misunderstood me.I wrote it not clear because of my english.I mean if player has 3,5 mln contract then club must pay 7mln(3,5 to the player and 3,5 as the tax from this money)
So it will be like that
So 3,5 mln x 2 = 7 mln -that's what we would pay in one year
7 mln x 2 years =14 mln euro saved.

I think there is more 2 this than David's not agrreeing a deal with Spurs ...

I think our management is pulling da plug on d deal :(

They want him 2 remain with us as our 2nd DM ; so that they can sell Hammer to Juve

or excange him with Mutu / Miccoli / Chiellini

I dont think thatz a bad idea ... not Hammer's sale ... but having Davids as 2nd DM

;)

Hammer for Chielini , Miccoli and 2-3 mil$ wouldnt be bad ... and Davids remaining here as second DM ... good enough :D ... i still think that davids is 1 of the best DM in the world :D

Good riddance.

We may not have saved money, but I seriously think that it's an addition by subtraction. You all shared the gut feeling that he'd find a way to flop, and I knew he'd manage to screw it all up when he got in a fight with the reporter or paparazzi earlier in last season. It's funny how quickly fortunes change for a player, you go from a tussle between Inter and Barca then end up with Tottenham a year later.

Davids has no one to blame but himself. He wasn't prepared for competition and was a cancer in the locker room.

Well, it's official now. Not Inter.it but on Spurs' website.
