As I predicted Inter decided to "sell" Karagouinis more likely we gave him for free. :wallbang:

But then again I'm glad on his behalf he would not have gotten much playingtime here, and another thing is that I'm glad we sold him and not kily, of that simple reason that he is a player whos position are allready covered. so there was no room for him in our team, and I'm not sad about him leaving the only thing that bothers me is that we moste likely didn't get any cash for him.

Well. I'm not exactly happy that this happened, but it had to sooner or later. Karagounis just wasn't going to get a starting place in Inter, with Veron, Pizzaro, Cambiasso and CZ all in front of him. No football player wants to be just the backup player. I hope Kara can have a regular starting place in Benfica.

more like a back ups back up cause that was what he was in our team. I'm not sad about it he was never one of my favorite players, I liked his attitude, and that he never complained about lack of playing time, but if you see the whole picture he was not really needed especially not after the Arrival of Figo and Pizarro.

Grazie Karagounis! His loyalty was beyond question but alas nice guys finish last. It's sad to see my favorite player gone but a champion like him deserves playing time and I'm sure Mancio and Moratti knew this.

I wish him all the best at Benfica.
