Official: Mohamed Kallon to Monaco

Mohamed Kallon has signed a four-year deal with AS Monaco. He will join Chevanton as the top strikers.

This ends an almost 10-year spell with Inter, which is of course saddening, but Kallon and Inter had to go seperate ways after the problems with doping and so forth.

Inter has now one striker less.

I'm getting sad cause of this transfer but at the same time I'm happy for Mohammed cause now he can really give some real effort. I know he can be a really good forward so hope he smashes plenty of goals in the French Ligue 1 and in the CL if Monaco can make it there.

Rumoured transfer fee is somehow good enough in my opinion.

I'm truly sad by this transfer even though it's needed. It doesn't mean that I'm against it though. It's just like I want Vieri to be sold but I'll perhaps cry the day he is. But still, it's for the good of both Kallon and Inter. Kallon has no place here and his reputation in Serie A has been disgraced by the doping incident. I hope that it won't over-shadow his reputation since Kallon had a decent Serie A career.

Kallon is a very talented striker. I hope that he will challenge for the 2 position up-front for Monaco with Nonda and Chevanton.

Its a shame he was sold but it was for the best of the club. Their were too many strikers and now their is one less. Kallon also brought some cash into the club making the deal worth it. I wish him all the luck in the world and I hope he shows his true worth in Ligue 1 next season. I'll probably see him on FSW once in a while :star:

I knew that the deal was still going to happen, they fit like a glove. With Monaco, he should be either the first striker off the bench and perhaps he can even gain a spot and give Chevanton a run for his money. He's always played his heart & soul for this club, and for that i applaud him.

I am happy for Kallon. Finally he can become a starter for real in a team that owns him and not only loaned him. Unfortunately for Inter I see Kallon doing major success in Ligue 1 and Champions League next year.

Who can forget the way in which Kallon and Ventola single handedly led our attack from week 1 to week 8 in 2001/02. Kallon still played an important role after that. He's a player who I have always liked, although the doping thing annoyed me.
But we don't need him anymore.

Kallon was full of bad luck with us . There was only 1 year with Cuper that he played a good amount of games then in the other season he didn't look part of the team loans,injuries,bans. Thre was times when I went is he still with us.

He was a very good player.Scored some very important goals and played hard all the time.I don't think there was ever any Inter fan that disliked him.Well Monaco isn't that nice of a place for him, they just got Chevanton and have Nonda so he is going to most likely be backup there too not getting a chance to show himself.I would rather have him at Fiorentina where he would be garanteed a place in the first team.

So Inter destroys another talented players.The list grows bigger every year.

well i wanted cruz to be sold instead beacuse kallon is young and he is a big talent,in 2002 he was right after vieri in scoring the most goals,vieri scored 35 in all competitions and he scored 25 and cruz last year only scored 7,if it was up to me i would keep vieri,martins,adriano and recoba only but if they want five strikers i would have sold cruz than kallon,bad move from inter
