I am really enjoying the Olympics. I have been watching the swimming, weight lifting, gymnastics and of course the football.

Shame about what happened with the Greek sprinters though.

Well you know what is shocking?

Singapore's Ronald Susilo managed to beat top seed Lin Dan of China in the 1/32 round of Badminton!!

I couldn't believe my eyes when i was watching the match.

Ciao,
Tim

Lithuania-USA 94-90

Lithuania is a very strong team.IMO they will win gold medal.

Nightmare Team is so bad that Greece(an average team) were competitive against them.

The American BBall team is a disgrace IMO....They are nothing compared to the dream team of 92...There u had a better bunch of players, more famous and talented with smaller egos...

How the hell does Iverson get to be captain... Did everyone else pass on that  By the way this is a squad that has Tim Duncan
I would have exoected more from Larry Brown he should have known better...
This guy ridicules practice, doesnt like to share the ball and the worst example of a captain...Talented yes, captain no..

What kid of example is he to the rest !!

True many players disgracefully passed on the chance of representing the US (which is sad) but Larry Brown could have made his squad better with some role players that could be useful more than the bunch he had..

Olympic Volleyball today has Japan taking on Kenya in the Women's Pool A match. Japan has to win Kenya to progress into the quarter-finals. A defeat is certainly unthinkable, especially since they managed to rack up 3 losses in their last 4 games. :(

As you guys can tell, the sport i have been most interested in throughout the Olympics is Women's Volleyball - i've been following the Women's team for some time now. So let's hope they win so everyone can be happy. :D

Ciao,
Tim

It's really been a tough time for me, as I have not been able to watch football. :(

Olympics Football. Chinese Channels rarely show football. They did show 2/3 which I recall (S.Korea-Greece, )But I have yet to see Italy, Argentina's games .... Burdisso !! :cry2:

I am still hoping that they wud show from now on - semi-finals ?? hope so..

and well, other sports ??

I have been following swimming. I have been supporting Philips (am I correct with his spelling) ?? I am not a fan of I.Thorpe (?)
I am supporting US team in swimming, Chinese table tennis, badmington team.

btw, I did support the cute Singaporean gal in table tennis.

Thank god the Serie has been postponed, otherwise I wud have missed the first 2 weeks or so for sure, coz Chinese channels are just showing Olympics on and on, in all the sports channel. And to add to that, they aren't showing football games. :fero:

Good to see ARGENTINA thrash ITALY. :proud:

not 1-0
not 2-0

but 3-0 !! :fero: :proud:

c'mmon Iraq, do it !! I am with you. :fero:

Sadly, Burdisso didn't play yet again ... :(
How good is he, if he can't even be a starter in Olympics. Ayala's partner ? Though Milan owned Collucini (?) was there though. ;)
