But anyway it ain t that tragic to draw away to palermo. All in all we we re a bit unluckey to loose both JC and deki. I guess with both of them playing on we d have won since with deki we d have a bit more creativity and if jc could have played through we d had another substitutino.

Right now the most important is do well against Genoa next game with limited players since we will want to rest some for the Jube game. I am also anxious on the injuries of JC and Deki. They need to be present against Jube

I have never seen such casual wasting in front of goal in my life. We had many chances to score, and we were unlucky infact we hit the bar a couple of times.
We were dangerous with Suazo on, and even more dangerous when he came off. Cruz immediately adding impact to the game getting a cross in for Ibra and holding the ball well. Suazo did NOTHING the entire game, he looks aimless.
He simply cannot be allowed to continue to play for us. We need to sell him and Adriano and get Drogba to help the already good Ibra, Cruz and Crespo.
Everytime Suazo plays a baby dies!
Let me say tho, we played beautifully, were were composed and extremely well organised in the back, and had flowing moves going forward, of course none involved Suazo.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFDamn that Suazo he pissed the hell out of me didn't do a good thing all game screw him and also Cesar didn't do anything either. Ibra should've been rested today as well he was tired all game and he couldnt contribute as much as he usually does. I am really disappointed with this game but people need to stop moronically jumping on Mancio's throat. It seems as if everytime we slip up some people return to criticise go **** yourselves. Anyway its not that bad anyway since Juve lost we're still +3 on the table since Roma won so nothing much has changed. Against Genoa we should play a bit more relaxed...
But overall I'd like to point out that the tough 3 matches we had this week we came out looking good we won 2 of them and drew one I was expecting us to do worse. So we got through that storm now we need to rotate the squad a bit for Genoa give Ibra his deserved rest.

I praised Mancini after the Roma victory, he was learning the basis of tactics and had learnt from his previous experiences.
But far too many of these games have been 'too close to call'.... Especially against sides we should be comfortably beating.
I praise where it's deserved and criticize, again, when it's deserved.
Unfortunately, Mancini has done one thing in my mind this entire season that deserves any form of praise, and that was against a side playing with only 10 men.
I am still not convinced by his general tactical ability, nor his motivation skills.
The reason we didnt win this game was yet again because midfield is ineffective and because of mancini's stupidity.
We yet again proved that our midfielders are mediocre passers at best, there is NO fast combination play, NO speed and NO creativity. Its always either a) a long ball from the midfield or b) a poor cross, that all that comes from our midfield when going forward. We create absolutely nothing.
Mancini shouldnt gamble on suazo in such a game, he sucked the entire game, crespo clearly should have started. Same goes for Chivu, he shouldnt have played lb, it limits our offensive play way to much and it clearly showed in this game, nothing came from our left side, cesar was alone and sucked the entire game as well and ran offside alot on poor deliveries from the cm's. Cesar has been good in past games because he wasnt alone on the left, he had maxwell to combine with up the pitch, today he had noone because chivu is too static and not that kinda player. Ridiculous decision by mancini.
Also i dont understand why dacourt was put on at the break and not figo, we created nothing in the first half with stankovic, then how can mancini believe that dacourt of all people would change that?

Also Chivu was there on the left to help keep Amauri quiet and Palermos most dangerous side is their right. When Cesar got the ball on the left, he did what he could.
I was satisfied with our midfield, Cambiasso and Dacourt controlling and cleaning up, and spreading the passes well, Cambi had some oppurtunities to score too but the ball wouldn't fall for him sadly.
We are not a dynamic team in the middle, we never will be. We are an extremely strong, deliberate team with a solid middle. That is our identity, either get used to it or support Roma.
What makes me angry is the websites will lead people who didn't watch the game, think Palermo even had a remote chance of winning this game when we dominated them, and deserved a goal.

Good post Neon. I agree with you, especially on that last part. We're not a dynamic team in the middle because Mancini has us playing risk minimation football. It gets us results in Serie A but I seriously doubt it will take us far in the champions league.
I really hope we get a skillfull attacking midfielder in the summer, becuase at least then we will have indivudual brilliance in the middle. We already have it upfront in Ibra and at the back in Maicon, in midfield is where we lack it.
We draw the match but it's not the end of the World. Hopefully we win the next one, and get back on track.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFThis game was our 3rd difficult away game in 7 days and looking back 7 out of 9 possible points isn’t bad at all. Palermo is a difficult team to beat – specially at home, no certainly not a bad result today.
Palermo didn’t have anything going forward where as we certainly deserved a better outcome from this one today. Credit to our team as they really tried to win the game and dominated Palermo more and more as the game progressed which definitely is a positive sign. Shame we couldn’t finish it off though. But the again our good old Jimmy in Palermos goal was superb today.
Also I’m sure the 2 unfortunate injuries in the first half (Deki’s did look serious ) did make life difficult for Mancini and his game plan for the second half.
Also in games like this the lack of creativity in the middle of the pitch becomes even more evident than usual.
Lastly I still feel that Suzao haven’t managed to gel well with his team mates and hence needs to work more on that aspect of his game. On top of that some of his finishing today and in his previous games somehow reminds me of Oba. Hopefully soon he can start and play some decent football something we all hoped for when he signed for us in the summer.

10 years of FIFForum SupporterMany things went wrong today. Starting from Suazo, to Dacourt's awful zero attacking abilities.
I don't want to see Suazo playing for a very, very, very, very long time. Suazo and Adriano shouldn't play in any Serie A or CL game, for months.
Our defence was more than great today, specially Chivu. Zlatan should seriously stay away from playing the freekicks, and let Chivu take them.
