However if we were still in Champions League it would be a horrible approach, playing two matches almost every week any team have to rotate if they want to remain competitive in all competitions.

You could probably say that Conte only have that mentality for this season and I hope that's the case and next season he'll approach it differently.

But his past seems to point otherwise, he has proven completely incapable of managing his squads in more than one competition, both his reluctance to rotate and the extreme physical demands that his kind of football demands are incompatible with a team that wants to compete in Europe.

He needs to improve his squad management a lot and find other ways to control a match other than physically overwhelming the opposition.
