What seduced me first, it's the fact that in this game, we aren't playing a WW, nor shooting some aliens. We aren't fighting some Russians or some arabics people.

No "clichés", it's a real jump into the horror of the war, with no concession.

Man, I'm playing Spec Ops : The Line, this game is the perfect definition of WAR. And i'm not talking about gameplay but about psychology, choices made in a second, sacrifices, etc.

What a fucking game.

fighting with your mind

I was fighting all the time, and the end was like, "the fuck?"

Finished it last night, fuck, this game is awesome. One of the most intense game I have ever made. The Final is like, WAHOU.

I think this is the second best TPS I have ever made (after Resident Evil 4).

On a different note, did you guys saw The Evil Within, Shinji Mikami's next game ? (The man behind the Resident Evil Saga, at least the first, the second, the fourth and the Remake on Gamecube - The best ones). It looks fantastic.

Well, tonight I'm starting Mirror's Edge.

Mirror's Edge is very cool, I like the artistic direction and the musics are awesome, I love the gameplay and the fact that it's a first person view BUT sometimes it's very hard to know where to go and some moves are difficult to realise.

It's looks like a die and retry game sometimes.

just finished deus ex:human revolution, good game, far better than Deus Ex 2, for sure

I'm wondering why people spent almost 100 eu on two games (the new FIFA and GTAV) when there are amazing cheap games to play. :megusta: I got Deus Ex for 10 eu, good buy.

Deus Ex HR is not good, but great. I loved it, the gameplay, the story, everything.

It showed too much that it was in development for a long time, graphically was a disappointment, the enemies were too easy to fool and parallel console development is obvious too. There were too many limitations, so in a way it was like playing a really good PC game in 2001. One of my favourites - Witcher 2 - is really limited too, but it is also a game u can easily play 3 times and u still don't see everything. Never got that feeling here, except for 4 different endings, I'm sure I didn't miss much.

The story and characters are dope, and it has that classic gameplay that I love. But it wasn't really like a true next gen 2011 game, more like a mixture of the first Deus Ex and Vampire:The Masquerade. Good game, would love to play more of it, but I thought the Mass Effect trilogy and Witcher 2 were overall better.

So you see the difference. I never got close with Adam Jensen, who was already talking as a robot even before the augmentations, even the love interest was not the driving force to complete the game.

With Mass Effect, it was a more personal experience, but yet worked on the grander scale. Where Deus Ex:Human Revolution could be a movie, Mass Effect could only be a long tv series with character development a movie can't reach. Great games.

Never played multiplayer tho :(

Agreed, I always get thrilled by difficulty gives me the satisfaction when I'm done with it. You should try the legend of zelda series it'll give you the greatest mind fuck you've ever experienced.
