Moving along from that loss....

This is another match in which Perugia would just love to frustrate us...however having thelikes of Adriono,Recoba,Cruz,VDM all fresh we should be fine in attack...

We should also consider resting some of the players from Marseille's game. We definately dont need to use two DM.

I would rest either of Cordoba or Canna and definately give JZ a rest....we need him in tip top shape for his runs to agitate Marseille and the guy has never got a rest. :star:

I like the look of this line up, we def need to rest Martins and Vieri for midweek and maybe some others - but as the fourth spot race is so close we can't afford anything else but a win. I would like to see VDM in this game, especially if Zac isnt plannin to use him midweek.

Vieri MUST be rested in this game. The man has played a lot recently and forcing Vieri to play a full match against Perugia will be asking a lot from the big man. Yes, Vieri has always defied the odds when we thought he should be rested or slightly injured but he still plays. But Vieri has grown older. Time has passed. His fitness level has certainly decreased. We need a fully-fit Vieri to turn the deficit against Marseille. We can't afford to have a tired Vieri against Marseille.

Adriano absolutely must start in this game. So does Stankovic. If we are to progress in the UEFA Cup, we must rest some player for this game. Believe in the bench players to step up!!! Though if they lose, Zac will blame them again. :rolleyes2:

well, if we field 2 DM like we did at juve's game.. we can field more attacking winger... in this case emre can act as that winger....
he may not be too good in this position (he will charge to the center), but he can create more alternatives to the attack...

It's a bit weird formation but we CAN'T risk Vieri or Martins for this game. Both of them need to be fit on Wednesday when we will face Marseille. Also other key players (Emre, Cristiano Zanetti, Kily, Cordoba) should be rested for Marseille game. Sub off also J.Zanetti and Materazzi in the second half. So, Marseille in the mind for this game!

I will not believe it if we use either Vieri or Martins....This should be a game where we utilize Adriano,and VDM...Plus we have two midfielders that can cause damage in Karagounis and Emre although i would rather not use both cause we will have a big game against Marseille but we cant afford to loose points in this game especially that Parma are doing well and i really expect Lazio to beat Juve.

I know he has been on the list of players doing specific training for the last few days so maybe he isn't 100% fit. Otherwise surely with all the games Inter are playing at the moment, it would make sense to use him and give another player a rest!!
