Player numbers 09/10?

With Adriano and Cruz gone their numbers are now also available for the rest of our strikers...

So..Who should have the 9 and the 10?

I think it's fairly obvious Ibra, Balotelli and Milito are in contention for either of those. I think it's also highly probably Ibra will be asked which number he prefers before anything else will be decided.

For me Ibra should have the number 10. He's the closest we have to a fantasista and a leader in attack.

I dunno about the nr 9 though... I would probably give it to Balotelli and hope that he grows with the responsibility.

I'd say, I got impression, that Ibra doesn't really care about the number. I think it is not so much important for him. Some players have their own ideology and suspicions about numbers etc. but I think Ibra is too confident in his own skils to waste time on picking the number.

I think he will stay with number 8. I for one got used to it, and don't see him in any other number. If he does indeed change, I think you got it right XL, and "10" would be my guess too.

I'm pretty sure SuperMario will be fighting for a new shirt number, and either 9 or 10 will be his pick(although because of his age, he could not get more than number 18 after Crespo), but I think he will get 10, while Milito will get 9.

Quaresma will be hunting number 7 after Figo for sure too.

I don't think that would be wise for such young lad. First year in Italy, he shouldn't be put in the spotlight, and shoult grow into the team slowly, otherwise we risk ruining the guy.

If he will become something more than just promising player, he will get his number 10.

You're right, Luka. Zlatan doesn't really care about the number. That's why he took 8 since 9 and 10 were taken by Cruz and Adriano respectively.

He used 9 in Juventus and uses 10 for Sweden and to be honest 8 doesn't suit him. 8 is more for midfielders. Give it to Motta.

He will probably take 10.

Santon probably will but Mario is likely to change his. In Football Manager I used to give him 20

ZLatan is the only player deserve to take #10 but I doubt he is really interested in sucha things. Quaresma most likley take number 7. I think he kills for that number! lol. We have to wait till our mercato finish. but if Zlatan doesn't take number 10 I think Deco will take it if he comes. I just hope somebody wear it that really deserves it. It's a very special number in football. Number 9 or 11 is fine for Balotelli. It is likely that he takes #9 and 11 goes for Arnauvic. Milito likley takes #22.

Anyway I think it's better ZLatan take #10 and give #8 to Motta or Deco or any other midfielder that comes.
