This game will be played next Wednesday.
There has been alot player changes in Porto side, which won CL few years ago. But it still wont be a easy one.

Adriano will be on the starting lineup again, Toldo might continue as keeper.

Adriano was wonderful last time around against them hope he repeats,I think he was going through a drought then too before scoring a hatrick.

This will be a tough game porto will want to bounce back from the shock vs artmedia.

Porto also lost their last league game, a Lisbon Derby with Benfica. I saw the highlights from that game and their central defenders looked extremely shaky. Two of them can't handle a single Nuno Gomes. Not to mention, they have conceded 6 goals in their first 2 Champions' League group stage games. I would be disappointed if our strikers can't manage a goal against them.

The last time we played Porto, Adriano was in a very similar situation. The match started and we saw Adriano rip them apart with a stunning hat-trick.

Now now, let's not get our expectations too high , but let's hope to see the Adriano of old, who will be playing alongside a pretty much in-form Inter side.

I think I would put Toldo in net because Cesar hasn't trained/played in a while.

If Martins continues to struggle with his knee injury then I would partner up Adriano-Recoba. Now the only thing I'm not sure of is to field Solari or Stankovic ...but I think I'll go with Solari who played an excellent game against Livorno

I read in a greek newspaper that Veron and Matrix stated that Adriano was unacceptable for losing the game against Livorno.
Veron was really pissed off, he said that this behaviour lacks in professionalism and that all players should have equal treatment!

Adriano claimed that there was a delay at the airport etc.

This is sad, let's hope that there are not any conflicts within our team...

Anyway, with or without Adriano I expect a win here. Mainly as I believe our away games should be an easier ride compared to playing in a delle EmPtY type of atmosphere. The only danger is that after their recent defeats Porto will be charged up for the game and that could cause us a bit of a problem. Having said that, as usual the right approach will be the key factor here. Another 3 points and we will be able to focus more on the league.

Considering the fact that we have to play at the Friulli against Udinese a few days after this match, I personally would rest a lot of first-team players against Porto. I view Udinese as a much tougher opponent compared to Porto. Not to mention, they are one of our jinx team that we seem to always struggle against. We have collected 6 points from the first 2 CL matches so I think we can afford to not win this match. In Serie A however, we have to keep in pace with runaway leaders Juventus and thus I view the Udinese match as a match that we must win and must not draw/lose.

I don't know whether Adriano will be playing this game. Mancini and a few of the players, namely Veron and Materazzi, aren't really happy with him for delaying his flight back to Italy. I'm afraid he'll get benched, which will be a disaster, not only for this match alone, but for the team, in case Adriano gets unhappy.

I hope Adriano plays though, and puts up another excellent performance like he did against Porto last season.
