From seeing Mourinho in recent years, I don't think he'd do much better with this team than Spaletti. The team barely has any stars and one of the biggest things I've been critical of Spaletti for is playing Candreva over Karamoh - which Mourinho would be even more inclined towards given his history with youngsters.

I also don't see anything to suggest Mourinho could stop Juventus over someone like Simeone.

I think the reason why he is not successful as he used to be 10 years ago is that he doesn't feel that family relationship with clubs he managed post Inter era, the relationship he used to have at Porto, Chelsea, Inter with MM.
