yeah i don't think we are that bad... from a positive side, we can say that we could be less predictable without Conte and Lukaku. Yes, Conte is an amazing coach and Lukaku an amazing player for me. And im not saying that Inzaghi can do better then him without Lukaku and Hakimi. But we have still a solid defence, Perisic/Dimarco and (hope) Dummfires on the wings. The team improved with Conte, players are prepared and have a diffrent mentality. I think as long Inzaghi has it under controll, we can avoid disasters, top 4 should be possible. And who knows, maybe something more.
If Inzaghi had sucess with Lazio, what can he do with this Inter? Sure we can't expect too fast things, he needs time to adapt. But i would be happy with a top 3....Let's see what happends.

I know its just serie-B team, but seeing our performance in this game is a bit consolation considering the shitshow in transfers. Our players in general playing good and already have good understanding even though some of them only played little so far. Perhaps adding very few players to the team has a good effect.

Judging by the preseason the season will be fun! If Conte forbade the attack on the opponent's penalty area, then Inzaghi has 2 laterals as wingers, 2 strikers in the penalty area and 2 midfielders right at the penalty line. Bastoni is always in attack (not bad by the way))).
Satriano in 1 goal he fought off defenders to get the ball to Lautaro
If there are no injuries, this season should be Sanchez. Taking into account how much our players play in the opponent's penalty area and therefore create a lot of variations, just the virtuosity and uncommonness of the Chilean could be the main weapon.
I liked that in Inzaghi's scheme the laterals get the ball in front of the goal, Perisic is very good there... Dimarco is not inferior either.

So the question becomes what is the drawback of playing like this? Are we going to get killed on the counter by good teams again? There was a reason in the 2nd half of last season we sat deep and hit teams on the break. It was because all of our speed was at one end of the pitch. Brozovic isn’t an all action DM and the defenders are slow. However we had Hakimi and Lukaku that could exploit space in behind. Now we will have Dzeko?

As long as you play all friendlies vs serie B and C teams (smth never happened before) we will never know until it actually costs us points

Our fans are already on his back. Apparently they gave him a hard time and booed him for a needless yellow card a the end of the game against Parma.

It is good to see that he has not forgotten what it is like to be useless: "the real Vidal".

If we stay healthy our mf is better than last year our main defense and Goalie are the same but Sensi > Eriksen for what we need.

no one we can buy is better than Hakimi or Lukaku. But dimarco > young or Persic.

hopefully the new coach actually uses youth players and our bench is slightly stronger than last year.
