Guys, I am going to change my permanent place of living next year from Armenia to Canada, but I wonder, if I can watch Serie A and for example EPL there.
I have found some info on the net, can you advise, I am searching in the right direction?
What I have found:
1. DISH Network - have no idea, if they work in Canada. They have the bundle, which call's "America's Top 250" including Fox Soccer Channel
2. http://www.tlntv.com/index.aspx
3. Rogers, with their Fox Sport World Canada

Please, advise what should I do to be able watch Inter and Serie A in Toronto.

Edgar, Fox Soccer Channel would be your best bet. They usually show at least 3 live Serie A matched weekly. They also give good coverage on EPL live matches.

For La Liga matches, you can try GolTV.

But is it possible to watch Fox Soccer in Canada? Can you advise any company, who offers that in Toronto, please?

I'm sorry Edgar, but I have no idea. Maybe you can Google "Cable TV in Canada" and it should give you decent results. If they have Comcast though, you should go for it.

Maybe Shahz, Hamed and the others can help you with this. :)

Fox Soccer Channel is called Fox Sports World over here and yes you catch all the Inter Serie A games. For Champion's League there is TSN (Canadian ESPN) and for Coppa Italia there's GolTv.

You can get the basic Roger cable, which includes TLN and TSN for around 35 bucks. TLN shows 2 SERIEA games every week. Sunday morning and afternoon games (Canadian time anyways, lol). Th coverage is extemely extremely shitty though. Some gay faggot commentator, who looks like he is faking an orgasm when a team has a scoring chance or something. Sometimes TLN shows CL games as well, of Italian teams.

TSN you can catch CL games. coverage is good.

Otherwise you can get Rogers Digital. Its expensive to set it up, but after that its only 15bucks/month. But channels like TLN, TSN or Fox are not free on it. You will need to pay extra 5 bucks for them each. You can also get GOL TV on Rogers Digital, which is not available on rogers cable. Once again you will need to pay an extra 5 bucks for that. But its pretty good. GOL TV doesnt show SERIE A, but it has rights to Coppa Italia, and the coverage of Laliga.

I would recommend you go for Fox sports world, in order to get proper SERIEA coverage. And maybe get GOL TV and TSN as well.
Dont bother with TLN and their crap.

The commentary in Fox Soccer Channel is good, it's those professional guys who have been commentating Serie A for a decade or so, called Paddy Agnew and some other guy.

Shahz/Hamed, I think you should enlighten Edgar on that issue that Hamed had on one channel that keep showing mid-table matches instead of Inter's matches or something.

By the way, may I inquire when & why do you plan to move, Edgar? :)

God, so much info...Thanks moneymike, shahz!

TLN webpage says they will show all the CL 1/8 games.

Well, does Roger's basic include Fox Sport World? Or should I ask for Roger's Digital? How many matches per week do they (FSW) show? Do they have also EPL highlights? moneymike says they show all Serie A games

Well, as Han mentioned, please enlight me with this issue). I have seen also packages on Bell webpage. Does Bell have FSW? I think ~50$ monthly is OK for me to pay for TV. So please, guys advise :)
What is the must for me - Serie A, then CL, the Coppa and finally EPL. So I need some variants to choose.

Han, I am planning to move to Toronto next summer. I will have another interista born in August, then David will go to school this autumn, so after he finishes the first year, we will move.
Regarding 'why' - I don't see bright future here for my kids. Bureaucracy is everywhere, like in every former-USSR and East-European country. :(

Oh my! Will David have a little brother or sister? I'm very happy for you Edgar. :) I know it's kinda weird or cheesy that I'm happy for someone I've never met or even talked before but yes, I'm genuinely happy for you and your family.

Coming from Indonesia, I can completely understand how you feel about why you would want to leave Armenia. But, may I ask why Canada and not some other countries? How about going to Asia? Places like Hong Kong or Singapore for example.

Canada is the easiest to get Green-card and work permit. At least from Western countries. As far as i know there is a big Armenian diaspora in Toronto.

Han, thank you very much for the lovely words!
Believe me, I feel something very similar to your feeling. I didn't meet you ever, but I hope, we'll have a chance, once I am in North America. The same feelings are to all guys, who've been on the forums for the last 3-4 years.

Ilkinio, there's an Armenian Diaspora, but the reason to move to Canada is the legal possibilities. I don't want to be refugee, I want to have official status. Right now Canada gives that possibility.

I'd love to live somewhere in the Netherlands, Belgium or Spain...but it's too hard to settle with your family there. Regarding diaspora - the biggest Armenian diasporas are in France, US, Syria...

Rogers cable only gets you TLN, TSN and SNET(channel that shows EPL).

Get the Rogers digital. and then order Fox, TSN, GOL and SNET. (dont bother with TLN, and that was the channel that hamed was talking about).

Toronto doesnt have the best job market though. Its the the most affected Canadian city due to financial crisis. I would look in to Alberta or Saskatoon if I were you.
But then again, Toronto has a huge Armenian population, something that you wont find in other cities.
I have a good buddy thats Armenian. One thing I have noticed about Armenian people is that they are very patriotic and religious.

I wont really say that its easy to get Green-Card in Canada, considering that Canada doesnt give out green cards.

But yeah, if you are coming here on immigration, you will get your PR card immediately, and will be eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship in 3 years.

Thanks, shahz!
I'll do that - Rogers digital and then order Fox, TSN, GOL and SNET
Please, advise the next step from here -
https://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=PTV_Landing&_nfls=true

How much is that? ~

https://your.rogers.com/store/cable...tyName=1-Toronto&boxType=1&SystemID=1-Toronto

There are three rogers digital boxes, probably advise to go with the second one, that is 250 bucks. Also they may chrage an extra 100 bucks for installation etc etc.

Here is a list of all the channels available through rogers digital.
https://your.rogers.com/store/cable...tyName=1-Toronto&boxType=1&SystemID=1-Toronto

Your next step would be to wait till you get to Canada, and then order the Rogers digital box.

And no that dish package is not available in Canada.

Damn, sorry for seeing this late, it should be in the Fan exchange thread. If it weren't for the Adult thread, I wouldn't have seen it.

Edlaut, I would advice you to wait until those channels have their Serie A policy ready before you act. The games keep on shifting from channel to channel, so check first and then order.

Also, TLN's CL coverage is the worse. First of all, it's in Italian or Spanish. Also, there is always a delay between the picture and the sound, I normally put it on mute.

Finally, good move chosing Canada. I think it's the greatest country to live in. I would only warn you about the weather around Toronto though, extremely cold in the winter and extremly hot in the summer. Other than that, it's a great place to raise a young family.

Best of luck.
