I joke around a lot but in all sincerity, can we please get the forum style back (or a little bit closer) to what it used to be? I understand that some of the emoticons were too big and therefore would make the row of text a little too thick to form a neat grid, but these new ones just look too small. You can't see any of the detail in them.

Also, it could just be me, but is the text of our usernames a little bit bigger than it used to be?

I personally still miss the lovely sentence "The Following Users Say Thank You to ### For This Useful Post:". Felt more alive than the way it is now.

I suggest that asking for thanks should incur and 100 thank penalty.

I brought up something similar in the mod forum. Anyone who makes an idiotic 'please thank me' post shouldn't be shocked if the thanks it gets are deleted along with thanks from some other post just for the fuck of it.

The huge memes are not coming back. If it were solely up to me, they'd be removed altogether. They're 5 years old and not that funny anymore.

The username thing was a side effect of another template change, but I just decided to leave it.

Yes Mick, the new 'thanks' has less of an appeal to it. Because of your monstrous thank count taking up valuable forum space, it has been scaled back.

I know that, and considering that signatures "may only have up to 8 line(s)", and formations code require only 7 columns (7 lines), I thought that it wouldn't be a major problem

The 8 lines rule was stupid in the first place because people were putting giant text and memes and quotes and other shit in their sig that may only take up 1 or 2 'lines' but in reality was fucking huge. So now anything over 150px just gets cut off.
