I have a technical question about the forum. I've been a member for a decent amount of time now, and still can't get the image sharing to work. No matter what I try to do with the pixels/file-size/img-size it always comes out either as an error (file too big) or a mini\uscule little picture (I'll post example)
How do I get around this problem?

Here's the image I uploaded onto the Cagliari-Inter thread in, you can see it being minuscule there too if you want
Btw I use the image upload function
Is there just some way for me to mess with the picture just to make it bigger?

Just upload it to imgur.com (or any other image uploading service) and then put the direct link inbetween the tags like this:
[php][img]http://i.imgur.com/qaD0n6v.jpg[/php]

What I did, when I didn't upload the images @ imgur, as Ronin suggested, was to upload it here and then copy and paste the image URL into [.IMG] tags - this way it uses FIF's servers and it's displayed large and all.

I tried Wobblz's method, and that seems to work pretty well for me (except it still has the "attached thumbnails" thing at the bottom)

I tried finding the "untick the retrieve remote file" in the general settings but couldn't find it
The closest thing I found was this:

If you click the insert image icon on this bar..

then you can choose from computer or from url.. choose from url.. then there is the "retrieve remote file and reference locally" that you can untick.. then you can paste the direct link of the image into the space.. voila!

That's how I always do it.

The reason you got it small is probably because you choose from computer, that will display as if it's an attachment.. like this..
