If i remember correctly the same thing happened when we signed Sneijder. He's a professional who has been around long enough to know the drill signing for a new club, I think his reaction has been fine.

At best with this transfer we got a top 5 central midfielder in the league, for at least 2-3 years. We've spent larger amounts on much, much worse transfers and losing Santon may indirectly benefit us by forcing the club to sign a new, better fullback (one can hope anyway).

He signed the contract. July 1st is merely the date that he can be registered as an Inter player, and be eligible to play in sanctioned matches.

NINJA, THE NEW BEGINNING


The new beginning of Ninja is a blend of emotions and words. Welcome greetings on one side, farewell greetings on the other. Great player but when taking the enthusiasm and happiness from people on this forum into consideration and I think there sadly is a noteworthy chance of him failing here. I have just seen too many threads like this over the last 6-7 years. Podolski was rated as a man with a high workrate and with alot of experience but with a decline in form due to age. He turned out not to be the missing piece as he was hailed to be. I do have the same feeling here.

I think You can see the difference in character between the two. Podolski is mentally weak.
Ninja will fight to the end to never disappoint spallo. That's the person I think he is. He will show that not taking him to the world cup was a huge mistake. He will work his ass off to get us an scudetto, so he can rub it on Mochis face.

I have never been obsessed with having him in the team, but I'm happy we got one of the best players in the league and that we are trying to give spallo what he needs to make team that he wants.
