This deal ended up just like how most of us called it at the beginning, an expensive flop, but it was out of necessity as he was the toy to keep Spaletti happy.

Just as Kondogbia with Mancini and Vidal with Conte.

Every coach has his own gay crush.

Kondogbia wasn't Mancini choice. Mancini wanted Yaya and management choose Kondogbia as a replacement

Well we dodged a bullet then.

Why? Yaya Toure was quality despite his age, and wasnt going to cost half as much as Kondogbia did. He could give us 2 good seasons I think. Kondogbia was a complete failure.

Funny we are still getting the players now who are as old, or even older than Yaya was at the time, but even less quality or just pure garbage, but we were reluctant to get Yaya Toure at the time.

Nainggolan: “Zaniolo massacred like me, Conte hurt me when, for just eight minutes of the match, he pointed me out as the responsible for everything.”

What match is he talking about?

The only matches Nainggolan came in and we didn't win were the draw at home against Parma and the loss in Madrid. If Conte blamed Nainggolan for those results then he's even more biased towards his favorites than i thought.

Probably the Parma game, he barely featured for 5 minutes vs Real. It doesn't really have to be a game that we didn't win even.

But that's typical of stubborn coaches. Spalletti used to do the same thing. Mancini also did this, but iirc he was man enough to do it in face-to-face before he lashed out at you in front of everyone.

I don't think Nainggolan is talking about any specific match. We would have to also see the full response in Italian and get the correct translation.

Conte expect Nainggolan use Rocket Shot just like when he destroy Rube... but in fucking 8 minutes lol :trollol:

Nainggolan treated like someone else son ( Spalletti ) :yao:

Of course Conte prefer start his own son ( Vidal and Gagliardinho ) :eek:blivious:

Naingollan is out of the project since two years... The mistake has been made by the management last summer...

Conte is known for this.

I remember watching a video where Lukaku was being interviewed by Ian Wright where he said Conte singled him out in a tactical-debriefing for being beaten to a header against Slavia and spent the next 10 minutes putting him on blast in front of the whole team, saying things like "if I thought that guy was any good, I'd sign him just to have him embarrass you in training every day."

I'm not sure this is the best approach to management, but it is a style...

Yes, I can imagine Conte definitely use this style of man management. Different people respond differently. Nainggolan probably is used to being the main man of the project (like what he got in Cagliari, Roma, and Cagliari again). He is not used to being criticized. That is why he felt like he is blamed for everything, while in fact all other players got blast from Conte from time to time, including his un-biological son, Lukaku

You know what, that is perfectly fine. I'm all for not pampering the players and holding them accountable for their actions. As long as it remains in the locker room and not in front of the media, like Spalletti did.

I'm not a fan of Lukaku, but every single time he speaks about Conte lashing out on him in front of the squad, or making it hard for him in training, he speaks about it with appreciation and knowing that it was for his own good and personal improvement.

Even if he was unfair to Radja in that one situation - guess what? Life is not fair. After seeing that training video of him halfassing it I lost any and all sympathy I've had for him. Sure, we could've used him, Radja would've banged 5 or 6 goals so far for us but I can't fault Conte for not being able to tolerate laziness. At our current progression stage we should not be settling for that shit, and I respect that. We will see if he holds Vidal to the same standard.

Conte or not, 9n was shit today. If this is his usual form, i'm not surprised that he ate the bench at Inter.

It was his first actual game in 150 days.
