Terrible from Nico. In a game that doesn't matter that much to get yourself send off and almost certain to miss the round of 16 is just idiotic.

best scenario is having Ajax or anyone in group G, not saying those teams are weak but at least we can have little hope for quarter finals

I really wasn't expecting this funeral atmosphere around here, were we really expecting to beat Real Madrid? Even without Benzema the quality of footballers they can put out is absolute leagues ahead of us.

Impressed with the first 60 minutes, Barella is an idiot, Lautaro was shit, whatever man. Hopefully we cop United or Lille, as I think Ajax would also do us in.

Out of the group stage, it'll do nicely, anything more is a bonus. Gotta win the league again though.

i think we'd all be fine, but baraella's red has really killed the mood as he's gonna miss both leagues probably. anad the first group game of next year

This is what's more annoying. I've never been as relaxed watching us because it meant very little. Then barellas stupidness annoyed me and put me in a bad mood, likely the same for lots of others.

Militao had a couple of these kinds of starts, he is that cheap foul player, Barella is just inexperienced, he'll get better,
if it hasn't been that red the result and the game would be ok, we played ok, we just aren't on that level, but we are doing beyond expectations with limited squad and after turbulent summer with some shaky changes....we'll be fine...

17 shots, 4 on target, 49% possession, 91% pass accuracy, 7 corners anda red card. All not all that surprising, Barella stil, immature, smart subs going Seria A. No real comment, but no real praise either.
We always dominate in stats but the quality difference of chances the two sides created was as clear as day. I mean, how can you equalize a 1 on 1 and a post hit versus a 25m shot from no where and a header with barely enough power to kill a fly? Talking about misleading stats...

Tale of two halves and ironically we lost them both.

Barella will learn and mature from this but damn massive lost for knock outs. Wonder how many games..

Dumfries, what happened? Subbed for injury or just because he was bad?

Anyway, we have qualified for the last 16, yes we all wanted this badly but lets move on, we are in a better position now then we were 9 years ago and one game (or both of them) won't and does not define a season!

Forza Inter, onwards we go!

At the same time, the xg of their goals is incredibly low. Two great long range efforts from outside the box.

there is no improvement..we are just in an easier group
Conte couldn't beat Monchengladbach, Sparta Prague, and Shakhtar Donetsk at home with a better team and won 7 and 6 points respectively in his two seasons. Spaletti approached every single game like a coward and conceded first in all of his 6 games in 2018, unable to beat PSV Eindhoven at Meazza (disgraceful group exit).

Inzaghi's team played much better than previous three years and at least beat teams that should have been beaten.

Barella has been a shadow of himself for months anyway.

hoping we avoid annhilation by Liverpool/ Bayern/ City. That will be enough for me.
Sevilla will somehow top their group, I'd like a revenge against those dirty cheating cunts

But I think we might even lose against them, revenge is not our domain we turn the other cheek

I think simply Inzaghi wants to focus attack back to left side, still keep defensive line he has in first half with D'Ambrosio pressing on Vinicius early and Skriniar covering for him, Bastoni can handle Jovic.
