I think there's a logical explanation behind the fact that the one organizing the whole thing has a slight edge over everyone else, namely being responsible for putting up the threads each week.

This in itself means he's unlikely to miss a week of predictions, also if he's away there's a large chance nobody reacts on time to put up the thread in his place. So those two factors add up to quite a lot of points at the end.

Keep in mind that you lose 10pts if you fail on your special bet.

For example if you predicted our win against Torino with a star star, then you will be -10pts from there because the star thingy works as a boomerang. If you get the winner correctly you get double points, if you don't, then you lose points.

Exactly as Besnik described. As I said do double check the scoring, cause I'm doing my best but still can make mistakes, but reference to the rules first. You've selected Roma win for their Milan match as your special game but they lost, hence you get the - 10 penalty. It's a double edges sword the star.
