Was in the early 90s, played it with my bro and sis, one player would close his eyes while the other hides. Man, old days are gold.

The new PS1 is a sham. Most of the games aren't optimized correctly so it's cash down the drain if you buy it.

Still have my old ps1 and ps2 hooked up to a CRT tv. PS2 is softmodded to run games through the network cable off my computer so there is no messing around with discs and stuff, very handy. It can also emulate nes/snes stuff.

The Playstation classic thing is a mess. I don't know why would anyone pay for an emulator that they can run for free on a computer from 20 years ago. Especially at the $100 price.

I have an emulator (JXD something) and like to play some of the SNES games or Game Boy games. And Arcade games like Metal Slug or Neo Geo stuff.H
Haven't used the emulator device a lot for over a year actually but I'm using my phone for some Game Boy games (Advance mostly, due to colours) and PC for retro strategy games like Red Alert, Age of Empires etc.

Can use an emulator but can't use thank button? Old people :chan:

I've got ps1,2,3 and 4. Never sold any of my old stuff, maybe a thing or two cause I needed the money, but as a last resort.

Still play Destruction Derby Raw, Crash Kart, Dino Crisis 1,2 , and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater when I'm feeling nostalgic.

destruction derby 2 for ps1 is still one of my favourite games. hard as hell but so funny. i was never into the hawk's franchise but those games used to be very popular, just like tony hawk.

I can`t forget the first time that i connected my ps2 with the internet to play PES06. My first online match ever: Inter-Sporting Lisbon 2-0. :proud:

Been playing some old Mega Drive games on my Shield through an emulator. Good way to waste a few hours.

Video games ruined my life. At least I still have two of them left.

Sorry to read that. Videogames sure can be addicting. There was a period in my life where PS1 was the biggest part of my day.

Same thing for my older brother with way older consoles and primitive pc games, but at his time at least it was a technical challenge just to start the game (if it was a computer game) and he learnt a lot from that.

In hindsight, I am kind of happy that I was nearly addicted to PS1 and not something else for a couple of years: I mean, it could have been alcohol instead, or something even worse. At least videogames don't leave permanent damages.

Right now I am playing with super Mario world for super Nintendo. Not one of my all time favourites but I haven't played it for some 20 years.
