Its not just that Miranda is playing poorly, its largely because Ansaldi is invisible defensively and usually out of position. So Miranda has to come out of position a lot to stop attacks from the flank, and Murillo is not closing the gap, so we have a stretched our defense with gaps for people to run into.

Our defensive organisation is surprisingly poor. Almost seems like FDB is not focussing on this.

I would put in Nagatomo instead of Santon. We are suffering on the left side and last year Nagatomo did a very job at containing Salah.

Salah is all speed but doesn't dribble. So it should be easy for a fast defender to mark him.

Perisic is class. 2 sitters were from his crosses. Up to now I don't understand why the ball did not come in. Like just 2 meters in front of the goal.

Our defense had horrible first half. Santon was torn apart by Salah speed. Ansaldi made at least two fuck ups too. Dribbling around and lost the ball easily. Iirc, Medel also got lost there, allowing Roma too many long shots. Fortunately Handa is Batmanovic again.

We definitely need much better FBs and DM.
