Those that say our defensive record is because of improved defenders and defensive tactics, you guys are lying yourselves. It's simply becuase of Handanovic being in God mode. Our defensive line is not much better than previous years. Maybe a bit more organized because of Mirandas capabilities, but far from good enough.

Look at this table:

Handanovic has 70 fucking 5 saves. That's WAAAAY too much shots allowed on goal. Medel doesnt provide enough cover and just runs like headless chicken. The defense STILL has no cover from the midfield. The defense itself is a bit shaky as well, considering Murillo makes lots of mistakes, loses his men and passes to the opposition, and people rate him as 35+ millions defender

The only defender I'm really impressed and positively surprised is Miranda.

Haven't watched Inter this season hardly at all so this SEVENTY saves came a bit of a surprise. Jesus fucking christ, that's awful. We are FAR from any kind of championship squad. We lead the league for half the season (?) thanks to Handanovic and Handanovic only, could you say?

I think the defend is improved a lot. The problem is our midfield that keeps conceding too much space and make no pressure. Im sure that most of the Handa saves came outside the box.

Of course he saved our ass many times. But speaking of World Class saves, then i think there are "only" 3-4 games where he made the big diffrence. But also had a bad game against Fiorentina.

At the end: The main problem is for me our forward. Napoli has a great forward and a decent defend (like inter) But still, they look better. Why? Because they can controll the game thanks to the forward. Inter gets fucked. We cant defend 90 minutes and hope that Guarin scores from 40 m. Inter has no game, specialy this 2 Months.

Its normal that we concede so much at this point. Saying that Murillo is bad because of 2-3 errors.. this is bullshit. We are talking about a young defender. You cant exept that he turns out to be Cannavaro or something. But he will do it in some years! Our defend improved, but midifield and forward are getting worser..

Its not because of 2-3 errors. He does them every game. He reminds me a LOT on Juan when he game. Great start, shows heart and determination, excellent tackler.... But poor man marking, positioning and has wrong passes. With Juan it was getting worse coz we didnt have experienced defender next to him, we changed formation each game, and so on. With Murillo hopefully it wont be the case as he has better defender to support and teach him, and plays in 4 men defense only.

I agree tho that the midfield cover is tge main problem. It has been for years now. We just cant find suitable replacement for Cambi. It turned out to be awfully hard.

I dont agree about handa tho. I remeber at least 15 wirld class saves, immense saves. He had only one bad game and thats it.

I think the problem was that Jesus is not a CB. Maybe if Murillo really risks to much he can still change position like him. Dont forget he was called "maicon" after the frosinone goal

Thats true, Cambiasso was world class comparing to Medel (whos not bad but still not a world class player tbh.) or Melo (too offensive sometimes)

Only possible if a stupidly high figure was offered. Assuming they get a stupidly high amount of money from De Gea to Madrid, they aren't going to use 90% of that for Handanovic who is much older.
