I actually don't have much trust in Padelli. I think he's a decent shot stopper bit I remember a few cases of.having having "butter fingers" and being terrible on high balls. I can't actually recall any specific instances but most have been from his time in Torino.

Agreed no doubt that Handa is fantastic but when it comes to second choices Padelli is solid.

I've been advocating for some time now that Padelli could have a starting spot for at least 10 Serie A teams and could definitely be a strong contender for another 5. He's a solid GK. It's stil a concern when you lose Handanovic because that's a top player in the world, not just your first choice GK. The defence is also behaving differerently with other goalkeepers so they have to shake it off as well.

This is what popped to my mind also. It's the game saver Handa provides in almost every match we might miss now without him. Defence needs to get their shit together finally.

Shit man, Handanovic actually makes a big difference, and as capable as Padelli is, Handa legit pulls out saves a regular keeper would probably let in and saves us so many points. Hope it's just this game and he's back for the derby.

The results from our Nerazzurri keeper and captain's medical tests

MILAN - Samir Handanovic has undergone an X-ray examination following an injury to his left hand suffered in training.

Results showed a hairline fracture to his little finger. His condition will be reassessed on a daily basis.
