This really has the potential to destroy our season I feel. This could be the second time this season we have a massive COVID-outbreak that spreads among the players. Other top teams (Juve, Milan) have mostly had isolated cases...

Inter have kept the clean sheet in nine of their last 13 Serie A games.

Bruh, I will be more sad when Handanovic leaves us than when Cesar did :(

I just wish he can lift that fucking trophy

It was actually more De Vrij's fault. Handa didn't trap the ball immediately, but it was never going to the goal if De Vrij didn't storm him. I'm not sure if De Vrij's foot even touch the ball, but it at least touch Handanovic which resulted in ball bouncing to goal.

In other words, if De Vrij wasn't there, there wouldn't have been any problems in that play.

Still, you need to hold on to that ball.

he did hold the ball until De Vrij hit him. If it was a Napoli player in place of De Vrij the goal wouldnt stand.

If ther is someone to "blame", i think its on handa, if he had more awareness, he could see de vrij run with too much speed and just punch the ball away witout any risk, he had to read the situation better..
Overall, i dong think its really kind of "fault" thing, it just very bad luck and it can happen to every gk..

It's a weird goal to concede, but fuck it, freak goals like that can happen to anybody.

Other than that, we still barely concede goals this second part of the season and Handa is to be commended for that.

Yeah definitely a freak goal to concede. Not a systemic goal to concede at all.

Off-topic: We did concede few good chances to Napoli yesterday but not many. They didn't run over us. They won the ball possession easily but we mostly controlled the match.

Didn't think it was particularly a "howler" but he probably should have known where De Vrij was and not attempted to catch the ball.
