yeap, Donnarumma is the only great choice in Serie A. I thought 2 years ago Meret would be a good choice, but he has not been that good since then.

Yeah watching it again Faraoni made contact with his arm. I think he should have still jumped up and caught it rather than let it fall into his hands. Would have avoided the situation all together and drawn the foul forcing the contact with Faraoni.

It's like saying Lukaku missing a sitter and people complain over it and then someone points out, well he was fouled so it was kind of hard to score and then you come in "naa yall just making excuses for Lukaku!".

Not saying Handa shouldn't be replaced as there's been quite some errors by him already, but this Verona incident wasn't actually an error since if there wasn't a foul, he would have just grabbed the ball and there was no case and this discussion at all.

It was actually more De Vrij's fault. Handa didn't trap the ball immediately, but it was never going to the goal if De Vrij didn't storm him. I'm not sure if De Vrij's foot even touch the ball, but it at least touch Handanovic which resulted in ball bouncing to goal.

In other words, if De Vrij wasn't there, there wouldn't have been any problems in that play.

Yeah definitely a freak goal to concede. Not a systemic goal to concede at all.

The thing with Handa is, even at 36 years old, his reflexes are still pretty much world class. His judgement of situations however have been shitty for a while now.

Hope he can keep it together until June, cuz the alternatives are a mediocre Padelli, Radu who hasn't played in a year and Stankovic (who is like 1,60m 'tall').

He should be replaced but we should be wary of the shitty keepers out there. There are not many options I'd pick over a mistake-prone Handanovic, maybe Cragno or Musso. Donnarumma is probably impossible to get.

Doesn't matter it was foul or not, Handanovic should have jumped and get the ball with an opponent next to him.
He's declining faster. For the next season we have to find a new golie, but I don't mind Handana to stay at Inter for one more season.
Calgari's backup keeper is doing pretty well so for and I think they'll be open to sell Cargno for a reasonable price.
