I don't think there is a single player in the world that could bring this team success. We can't score, we're not creative, we can't turn possession in to meaningful chances, we can't defend pace, we can't defend quick counters, we can't defend slow build ups, we can't defend set pieces. *sigh*

We are a worse team than in 2010-11, Eto'o is a worse player, we have no money, Eto'o is still expensive. Bringing him back now is silly.

I like Eto'o but we should never try to sign him again. He's declining, and will be finished in 1 or 2 seasons.

When Milito was 32, he was much better than current Eto'o (also 32). I remember he scored ~20 goal in the second half of 2011/2012 season (with one of the worst Inter I've ever seen), only after Messi and Ronaldo. And then tons of random injuries, and now he's almost done.

I disagree, form is temporary, but class is permanent.

Eto'o will still prove to be a very good striker if he joins us.

If we have a chance to do a swap deal with them, then we should definitely do it.

Class is permanent until you turn old, get injuries and can't run anymore.

Eto'o is not himself anymore, his performance this season isn't good at all. FIF fap and think he's still word class just because he scored hattrick against Man.Utd. But hey, at 32, Milito scored against Rube, Bbilan, Napoli, Fio, he even scored a poker that season. And now all you guys want him out.

No, I don't want Milito out.

In fact, I want Eto'o to come back to partner him.

And from what I tell, Eto'o is still running and going, he's not really getting injuries like Milito. Dude can go on like Drogba, because what he has is skills.

I wrote about 32 years old Milito, not the current Milito. :eek:blivious: He is 2 years older than Eto'o, so of course Eto'o is better than Milito atm, but at 32 Milito was much better.

Again, I compared 32 years old Milito (2 years ago) with current Eto'o (32 years old). I didn't say who is better at their prime/their time at Inter.

And the time when they were together at Inter, Milito was much better at their first season, but in the second season, he got tons of injuries while Eto'o became our best attackers, so in my opinion, they're equal.

Eto'o would probably be the best for us still if he came back, but I dont think he's that good anymore. He'll do an alright job at Chelsea - and has moments of brilliance i.e. against united - but overall he isnt anywhere near the level he was at, at inter for example
