This was during the entire spell in Sweden. From the first day to the last day. So it wasn't linked to his performance in the game.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANTIAGO SOLARI
Friday, 07 October 2005 10:39:11
APPIANO GENTILE - Hernan Santiago Solari turns 29 today. It will be a working birthday for the Argentine winger, who will celebrate with Mancini and the squad between today's two training sessions.

I don't see why Solari gets this happy birthday. I don't remember Veron, Stankovic, Pizarro, J.Cesar, Cambiasso or Kily get a 'happy birthday'. I only remember Adriano, Cordoba and Zanetti getting it...

We will see if Cruz (October 10), Martins (Oct. 28), Figo (Nov. 7) or TOLDO :D (Dec 2) get a 'happy birthday'.

Solari seems to be this years flop! I hope I’m wrong, but all the games I have seen with his and other external factors point to that direction.

As shown in his RM time he is a happy bunny even when on the bench as long as the cash comes in. No passion what so ever in our team – a team that he happily and openly rejected for RM’s bench when fat-boy went to RM.

Happy bday!

It's FAR too early to even start to judge Solari. Give him time, playtime especially. And remember, summer games don't mean shit.

So far, he's truly played 1 real game..and in that game if the ball just struck the right part of his leg and he had scored...everyone here would've been all over him...but it didn't and people are calling him a flop after 1 game?...okay guys..

Solari is really dissapointing me. I never ever thought he may have this problem in Inter. Something like the story of Kily Gonzales is happening to Solari, he must try harder it's up to him and nothing else. So I just can say try so hard Hernan, we expect more from you, don't let us down boy!

He will try hard only when u let him take the field ... and not leave him on the bench or play RW. I dont think there have been 5 matches this season where he has played LW.

Don't judge like this. The problem is himself, he's not ready it's clear. I think it's more about adapting Italian Life and after that about his condition. But surely he must try harder, HE must try harder. I never ever want the same story of Kily Gonzales for Santiago Solari!

I was up for Solari a couple of years back coz even though he was on the bench, when he was called upon..he displayed somethin that makes u think that he surely has some potential up his sleeve..

But, from what i see out of him, he doesnt fighting potential and sort of accepted his position in the team...a sub...somethin like real i wud say, but he had zidane, figo, guti, and god knows who else ahead of him.

I still believe he did well whenever he was played as a LW.

Like the last game for example, I read he did well. That unfortunate cross to Adriano was really good. And against Rangers, he made the best of an awkward position.

I agree Hamed..He even did well when he was at RW.It was only his first couple of appearances that he wasnt impressive. He should be given more chances to show his stuff..

No way in hell do we need anyone to replace him..We already have Stan filling in the position and Figo if needed along with him.

INTER 2009/10 !
I'm quite surprised that he still isn't mad or unsatisfied with his status..After all, he was left out of squad when he was fit, and that's something that is very unpopular and embarassing for a player like him..Anyway I hope he gets more chance and on LW..
