Dalbert is used by Spalletti to help defenders in clearing the ball out because of his speed.

We spent good money on him, he have some good characteristics so he should play or we will get another João Mario case.

Not too sure about our formation specially with both Asamoah and Vecino in midfield. Too limited. This can only go either way: us trashing Sassuolo 5-0, or Duncan dominating our midfield due to lack of almost every attacking capability that you need in a midfield (except for Brozovic).

And Spalletti BETTER NOT START Candreva or Valero a head of ANYONE.

Last year J.Mario played very good season as a central midfielder and then in first round he was on bench and later he was used only as a trequartista.I wonder can we expect some surprise from Spalletti at the beggining of this season.

They lost just Jorginho and made few reinforcements also.Ruiz could be his replacement (well,not the same quality this first season in Italy...) and two solid wingers to add some depth.Also Ospina who is a far better GK than Reina at this stage.Plus Ancelotti is more willing to rotate than Sarri so I suppose we will see good season from at least 1 or 2 of their younger players like Zielinski,Diawara,Rog,Ounas...

If they dont go really far in CL my prediction is that they will be sure as a second place team once again.

For Inter I expect around 80 points this season which would be enough for third place.

So,+8-10 points this season and then again +8-10 next season and then we could be in more serious stories as a Scudetto contenders maybe like Napoli last year.

Imo We have brought more than enough players to bring us more than 8-10 points this season we should aim +20 points that's about 6 more wins that we could have easily won last season against mid table lower teams

But we play in CL this season.And I expect more matches in Coppa also.

Even 12+ growth is kind of unrealistic (when u are this high on the table) not only for us but for any team in one season.

Nice to see Dalbert starting, that would be a good condifence boost and hope he will be good enough to start or at least fight with Asamoah for the LB spot in the long term.
