Pazza Inter is back. What a shit first half. Hakan making €5m a season is sickening. What a shit player. Inzaghi should leave him in Sassuolo and made him walk back for the effort he didn’t put in tonight. Terrible decisions all around from everyone else as well except Barella and Handa.

Second half massive turnaround after the triple subs. Dzeko and Vidal brought the experience and energy we needed.

So we are back to pazza inter.

Finally I can breath after the final whistle. Always nice to win before the international break. I hope Inzaghi learn from this game and realized lot of big holes in our defense.

One of the take from this game: Darmian is still better than Dumfries. Fucking Darmian! Shows how decline our quality is compared to last season.

We have a jewel in Dimarco. Sadly i can't say the same for Dumfries.
I feel sorry for ourselves after all the shit that happened in the summer transfer period. That's why i can't be mad about our performances... It just feels so unfortunate..

Some of our quality players who should start, like Dzeko, Sanchez and Vidal, are best used as super subs. Wish they were 5 years younger, but at the mo, they cannot play 90 minutes every Matchday.

Unfortunately some of our starters like Hakan and Correa (our two "big" buys this summer) are either not good enough (in case of the former) or not suitable (in case of the latter). Hakan is shite, what a complete waste of 9m a year. Correa is at best a low scoring 2nd striker, maybe can play alongside someone like Dzeko, but definitely not alongside Martinez/Sanchez. It felt like we started with 2 support strikers today.

Great 2nd half today. Will credit Inzaghi with the brave 4 subs at the same time - never seen someone do that before. It changed the game, specially Dzeko, Vidal and Dimarco. But Inzaghi needs to find a solution to passing out from back - those fuck ups will cost us the season.

Finally, what we are resting Sanchez for.... the international break?

What on earth where we playing after the quadruple sub? Looked like some demented 4-4-2, I kinda liked it.

He gets injured every international break, so we'll not see him back until february probably.

One thing I've noticed, specially in the past few matches is that we are wasting opportunities not just by poor finishing, but mostly by poor decision making.

I have seen on numerous occasions that the players screw up opportunities by a poor pass or just poor decision making in general. They have one or two players in better positions, but instead of making a simple and smart pass they cross it to nowhere or just pick the wrong player. These small details could change the fate of a match and the players are making way too many individual errors in decisive moments and it's working against us.

The team was a chaos before the subs. Glad they fought back and took the 3 points. Lautaro was very frustrating to watch but I'm glad he scored the penalty.

We are making too many individual mistakes and some players like Hakan are just underperforming. Hope by some miracle Eriksen comes back soon. Hakan, Vecino and Vidal are nowhere close to his quality and I believe that void in the midfield is harming the team as a whole, specially the defence.

Well I think everyone can finally give Inzaghi some slack, he played Correa, he used Dzeko as "super sub" he clearly made the right tactical subs, he played Dumfries.. He did everything all the negativirista's keep complaining about, it wasn't pretty and it wasn't a great performance of course but that's the players on the pitch, not the coach. Ugly wins are still wins 3 points are still 3 points. Absolutely buzzing with the result, was a great game despite the ref being an absolute doylum.
Ok, i'd give him a due about the subs, but saying that poor performance was on the players but not on the coach is ridiculous. Man, we are a real mess. Everyone attacks and nobody defends. When we have the possession, all players are rushing forward and when we lose it, it becomes ugly. There was one counter of Sassuolo, when in our penalty area were Skriniar, De Vrij and Hakan?! Our left flank aka Pero and Bastoni were absent. And this is only one example to illustrate how bad is the team from transition attack -> defense. Another point is our game under pressure. When Conte was the coach, this aspect wasn't bright as we were mainly targeting Lukaku and Hakimi but now is even worse. When the other team starts intense pressing, we have no idea what to do except losing cheaply the ball and allowing very dangerous counter-attacks. For now, we are really lucky that the other teams cannot score 2-3 goals before our reaction, but that won't last forever.

Credit to Inzaghi, i liked his approach after the 4 subs, hard press and tackling, thats what we need, cz we're too soft and seems afraid to make a foul at first half. We're a physical team, and its funny how player like fucking Boga walking trough our box without no one even touch him. Remember how prime Messi can't score against Julio Cesar? Yes that how we should play against tricky player, block his way before he enter the box. I love how Vidal was sliding at Boga left and right, thats slows him down.

Agreed, without Inzaghis bold and decisive action, we would have absolutely lost that game. He didn't drip feed the subs, we needed an impact and we got it...

Huge win that gives us calmness before the tough schedule that is coming. There are huge issues in the squad though. Very poor performance in defence but the biggest issue is the midfield. We simply don't have the midfielders to play Inzaghi's football.
after this game we can say that our third midfielder is Vidal... he's doing really good, now and befores he's injury. Sadly it's not he's last injury and we don't have alternatives. You can forget about Chala Vecino and Gagliardini, theyre simply not good enough for a top team....

There is no reason to blame players..It was the coach's inappropriate tactics in the first half...Dumfries and Barella had too many offensive tasks so Boga, Lopez, Rogerio had too much space and Skriniar was alone on the right too much..Second half a bit late but in the end Inzaghi sent Darmian and Vidal to the right..They played tight with Boga and did not give him space to run... You could notice that Brozovic started to move the space around Boga as well...This was a key decision from Inzaghi which changed the game and won us the match...And of course Dzeko had a great game...Important 3 points...You can also see that some players are tired, now comes the national team "break" unfortunately our best players will travel and play matches again...

Please don't. This idiot plays well to get him a starting place at CL and then ridicules himself and our team during the cl game.

Lautaro and Correa with really poor performance together, unfortunately i think that no one of them can play as main striker, they both need pair with another dominant striker to draw the opp defense attention like lukaku or immobile, we have dzeko and either of them can do better with him than with each other in my opinion, that very unfortunate...

I just finished watching the match in replay and I don't understand why some fifers claim we didn't deserve 3 points. What is it? Excessive sportsmanship? Unnecessary gentlemanism? Only Inter fans disdain this kind of victories where players give their heart out to win. Bravo Samir, he did the maximum possible in that occasion to correct the mistake of De Vrij and there was no foul. By the way, De Vrij's display in the 1st half was probably his worst performance in Inter jersey, I counted 4 similar blunders from him, luckily for us non of them led to a worse scenario.

Dzeko easily man of the match.
Dumfries was defensively sound, and was decent in supporting the attack. Could have performed even better, had players exploited his flank more often.
A truly deserved hard win achieved thanks to a champion character, bravi ragazzi!
