At this point, I care about 6 things. Miki with more assists. Thuram with more assists and goals. Lautaro with some goals. Dimarco with extra more goals and assists and Hakan with a few goals. And of course winning 3 games and getting 98 points. For some of you the season is over. Not for me.

I know I'm late and others have probably already said similar things, but it would have been nice to at least tie and get a goal and continue the streak. Bayer leverkusen shows no signs of stopping and I think a good champion honors the competition, the fans who payed for tickets, and wants to get a result. We unfortunately just lost focus, and hopefully can resume our winning ways in our last few games.

I am not pleased with sassuolo a win, especially when they rolled over for milan a few years back not even trying to play, essentially giving them the title on the final matchday. I hope they do get relegated because I never liked them.

I hope the last games are good performances that will help the team mentally, because we will have international comps followed by another tough season next year. I think this year's success was about continuing momentum from end of last year (although ucl performances were a bit erratic this yeat unfortunately). So we need the same push for next year.

Thinking back to the interest in Samaradzic last summer and the signing of Zielinski this, I'm thinking this sort of evolution in midfield is really important. The standard trio of Barella - Miki - Hakan have many virtues, but the advanced pair don't really offer enough when it comes to breaking through teams who defend en masse centrally as Sassuolo did very effectively. Asslani and Frattesi are not suggesting that they offer anything very different, although the former did make the one incisive pass in the game for the chance that Dumfries fluffed.

This forces the attacking emphasis out wide and in the case of the weekend we had Carlos Augusto who looks a much better defensive player than an attacking one, and Dumfries who was just very poor in all areas of the pitch. It starves the attack of service and this is maybe one of the reasons we have seen Sanchez dropping into more of a number ten role to act as a creator and a link between midfield and attack.
