The article that Puma posted talks about Skriniar like it’s November 2018. The guy has no idea that Skriniar isn’t currently a starter.

Visited the Sevilla forum, was honestly pretty shocked at how confident they are. I guess when you win this competition all the time that’s what’s comes with it. However the general consensus is that we park the bus and play shit football. Also that Man Utd is a better team. Hope we roll them 3-0.

Not shocked at all that they're confident precisely because they've won it five times in the last 15 years. Basically nobody's left from any of those teams but I still understand how winning regularly breeds more confidence when the next opportunity comes around. I would be surprised if they didn't have confidence.

Nevertheless, we're the best team they've faced. I feel pretty good in saying that. How that will translate is a whole different matter. We come in playing well; they come in undefeated in their last 19 games (all comps). They also do come in with one more day of rest than we've had, and they also had a longer break from the end of the La Liga season until the resumption of this competition (whereas we had no break whatsoever). I wouldn't be surprised at all if fatigue becomes a bigger issue for us than it is for them as the game wears on.

I wanted to write a few words before tomorrow morning’s final.

At the moment, I am an anxious wreck. I keep scouting for news in relation to the final, the team, Conte, the meeting with Zhang and future transfers. Basically, anything Inter related. And I have found it difficult to not be in the Forum today. I cannot explain why I have been doing this given that I am at work, the final is over 12 hours away in Australia and the day in Germany is only just starting.

I am looking forward to the final and want us to put our best foot forward. There is a part of me that feels that if we command the game and play like we did against Shaktar, we will win. But then there is a part of me that is thinking about mistakes, deflections, dodgy VAR calls and penalty kicks. Perhaps these latter thoughts have something to do with past disappointments, Inter being crazy and the 24hr turbulence that surrounds and characterises the club (at least in past years).

As strange as this season has been due to Covid-19, I feel the team has grown and matured. We have had up and downs and our fair share of disappointments especially where the Coppa and Championship were concerned (even though we did not expect to be contenders for the latter) but we have kept going. And now, here we are in our first European final since 2010. This is momentous for us.

I want to thank you guys for being here week-in, week-out throughout this long season when many of us (myself included) have been lonely, isolated and confined to our homes due to Covid-19. Our love for our club has kept us here, hopefully following the fortunes of our team and wanting the best for them when everything else in the world has been changing and seems so uncertain.

I do not know how the final is going to play out and what is going to happen afterwards in relation to Conte, future transfers and next season. Those considerations are secondary to the final but I cannot help but think about what lies ahead.

However, the things that I am certain about are that: I am a proud Interista; I love having you guys as my brothers and sisters; and I will be here with you again next season.

Insieme andiamo Inter!

Love Puma

Yea I was there at the hastalamuerte forum.

They were confused that they thought we were saying that they are the equivalent to Sassuolo. (Like calling them a mid table team.)
They seem more “confident” than us but they also think that we are being pretty confident/cocky and some of them got mad.

But most of us here and over there think is 50/50
They are pretty confident about their defense.
Supposedly Carlos Diego And Kounde are really good from what I seen on YouTube from journalists/show. Specially Spanish ones. Like that guy “Maldini”
They also haven lost in 20 games.

TBH I’m not as scared as I was before the Leverkusen and Shakhtar game. Mainly, because the team Seams to have found the right balance. Defense is solid and we can create plenty of chances. Everyone seems to know what they are doing and when to do it.

After those 2 games and the game against Atalanta it gave the confidence that we won’t fuck this up. I think we have learned how to play against teams with tricky wingers that move the ball quick.

I’m a little bit too confident.I know they are good side, but if everyone plays at their highest level then I think we got this.

I think we are in a better shape. They were exhausted at then end against United.... specially Banega.

"They don't like to keep the ball and only try to counter... I hate those teams"

isn't it the way Sevilla beat United in last match?

And this defensive minded Inter scored 111 goals this season while this pro offensive and possesion oriented Sevilla just 84.

Leader sounds like a cocksucker. He's making Sevilla out to be the saviours of football.

Two words: Get fucked.

Reasons I want us to win:

- Handanovic deserves a trophy
- Winning breeds winning. Let's start a cycle.
- Gives us the chance to win the only major trophy we've never won: the European Super Cup
- Winning would mean that the most recent Italian winners of both European trophies are us, despite Juve's dominance and our banter era.
- I bought this year's home jersey when I went to Milan for the derby in February. I'd like to associate it with a trophy.
- It's been too long.

I'd like to revise my list to include putting this arrogant twat in his place:

Thanks.

The only way to shut up those dickheads is winning this evening! Come on guys!!!

There will not be surprises in our starting line, we'll see the same 11 lions seen until now against Getafe and Shaktar!

I will be watching with a group of friends at my place. They all hate Italian football, normally if we watch Inter they tell me to switch to another game after 20/30 mins. This is the first attempt since Conte is coach of Inter so I really hope the players won't let me down. I've bought a lot of alcohol and weed, so if the game seems boring I just get them drunk and stoned and then every game will be amazing.

I'm really confident about this game, especially after the Shaktar game. Inter looked so good and impressive, they can attack, they can lean back if needed/wanted. And if we can stop the attacking play of Shaktar we can certainly stop Sevilla from playing. Also there pinch-hitter was a former PSV player and when we played them De Vrij and Skriniar!! :D totally outplayed him so don't worry about Luuk de Jong coming in.

My parents are married for 40 years today so for me that the final is played today is a sign we are going to win this match so I can celebrate 2 big things this weekend.

Good luck everyone tonight.

FORZA INTER!
