I think he told the players not to dwell on the ball in tight spaces and play the 1-2 touches to counter Milan’s pressing.

It was pass and go the entire first half. Milan players didn’t know how to deal with the one touch passing.

I think tactically he’s there. I honestly can’t remember him getting a game plan particularly wrong (at least in recent memory). His in-game management is a work in progress but still young enough to learn. The bigger question mark is if he has the personality to really establish himself in the upper tier of managers. He needs to get the team performing at 100% all the time.

Yeah his in-game management and the mental side of preparing the team week in, week out are the things to focus on. But indeed he's young, only 46.

Champions League will prove that.
No one cares much about anything else these days.

People rate Tuchel for example because he won a fluke CL and had some good runs in Europe but he was really bad at handling PSG's stars despite winning 1+1 gifted, clashes with lots of top players and isn't a great league competitor and he helped lose the league to Lille in his 3rd season, then he couldn't compete in the PL where average managers have done much better with less.

And if you ask people here, they'd love Tuchel. At least the idea of Tuchel they have. If he actually came here the same people would hate him

One of the reasons why i want him to succeed here is that if he gets it right and the team is ready we easily play some of the most beautiful football I ve ever seen inter play.....
I know it s of little use when he cannot do it consistently...

inzaghi entered the top 7 managers in inter history who gained official trophies

the current team lacks alot of bench depth
but again this coach proved he can manage the best out of them.
with proper and successful mercatto we can thrive.

Glad for the cup, lets hope we finish in the top 4
and reach the next level in CL.

As player he won everything in Italy, as Coach he is only missing a scudetto! As long our owner situation does not change, it's hard...

Conte will probably be axed soon. I wouldn't want him over Inzaghi in our current situation. I would've liked to see Sarri at the wheel though.

Forgot to mention -- I think the biggest issue he needs to work out is spacing/parcellation/partition whatever you want to call it. We're too vulnerable on the transition and this needs to be sorted either via efficiently aggressive pressing or by tightening up, holding shape and lowering tempo.

Congrats on utterly failing to read a game. Again.

It's OK guys, he's won 3 trophies no one really gives a fuck about so he's up with our best ever managers.

Clown manager.

(not a dig at you Mr inter Milan man. Just supercups are glorified friendies, his name doesn't belong on that list)

This guy is the new EDF. Get rid of him and his puppy Correa, and bring back Mourinho.

End of first round.

12 wins
1 draw
6 losses

38 -25 goals

Limone ball
If this isn't sackable I don't know what is. He has the strongest starting 11 in the league, absolutely pathetic numbers

Mourinho should stay away from this misery, let the board cope with this misery and get out from it if they can.
