This one does worry me a bit, cause the past record dealing with this terrorist football ain't great, this is the kinda match where stats meant less than normal, and we cannot do it like a general approach like controlling, make space then make opportunities or control, wait for space . It needs to be more deliberate and more precise, like one second of lost focus then you concede the only goal etc.

I haven't watched enough Jube to spitball what kinda measure we can do... Would like to hear some of someone follows

Yup this is the mini-final to prove for Inzaghi. If we don't have the Scudetto (I dont see CL feasible) it is abysmal. Play beautiful <<<<<< big title.

Napoli proved it doesn't matter how you play, if you are winning, you are winning.

Honestly I don't expect a win against Juve. But defeat isn't accepted. Home match is the one where we should annihilate them.

What an embarrassing technical display in the second half. Missed passes, Acerbi who keeps giving the ball back to Sommer, no creation, no inspiration, useless subs, we kept insisting on playing on the left despite Dimarco being trash tonight ... We faced a very, very weak Juventus and couldn't dominate them. Appart from the goal we had 0 chance.

Just like credit must be given where it's due, he deserves the blame for tonight's disappointing display.

He was outschooled by Allegri again.

Just imagine how a different outcome would've been had both coaches change their spots.

We have a superior squad, yet we never shown any real signs of dominance. The only good thing out of tonight's game was that we didn't lose, otherwise it's such a disappointing result against a mediocre side of gobbi.

They're still the second best team in the league point wise. Yes, they are not as good as years ago but away against Juventus is a tough game regardless of whether we have a better team or not.

Even Mourinho's Inter couldn't beat Juventus away from home and the quality gap was bigger then.

We are actually the only team to take points off Juve once they've gone 1-0 up this season. They are a very difficult team to play in these scenarios.

I dont understand the idea of Hakan-Asllani sub every game. I’d understand if we are winning comfortably and we want to rest our best players.

Seriously what’s the point of subbing registas when we need a goal? It’s clear Barella and Mkhitaryan were so off and they needed the change more than Hakan.

I think it depends on the game. Some games Hakan runs out of steam and needs to be subbed out. I agree with you on today though - I thought Mkhi was the one who needed to be subbed off.

Yeah, it felt like we left some points on the field. Should have made some changes in midfield a bit earlier.

Thing is we really didn't need the goal. Like desperately need the goal. Draw from Turin is a good enough result anyway. Better not to risk anything and take the draw. Juve didn't catch us and that's all that matters at this point (we are at round 13).

What am I reading?

We are managing the league race not just the game. It might be hard, but let's try to see the bigger picture. Merda Allegri would accomplish nothing with this Inter, let alone develop us to who are today.

I agree to some extent that we might should have tried a bit more but apparently the initial idea was not to lose. Losing last night was meaning Juve on top of the table and next week they play against Monza while we go to Napoli which is usually as hard as Juve away. So, theoretically we could have ended up 4 points behind Juventus in just two weeks - "crisi Inter".

I'm sure the history paid a part in Inzaghi's total risk-free approach. We didn't want to concede those counters. We did once after an individual mistake (a poor decision / lousy ball control) and not a systemic one (where we would have pushed more players up) which lead to counter. We conceded a similar goal last season in Torino aswell, but back then it was our players up on the pitch (maybe setpiece etc) and not like yesterday.

We have a tough schedule, so I don't see a problem that we approached with more caution in the second half. Those numerous passes all over the pitch might be boring, but at least saved some energy of the players. We have better chances against Napoli I believe.

I get that Mkhi and Hakan offer a lot but I think he played it safe in 2nd half even both of them had under bar performances. Should replace both if he wanted to bring Juve down, not letting Mkhitaryan playing whole match and late Hakan sub.
