Does someone have the stat of minutes played? im guessing after Sommer the most minutes are for Acerbi, Mikhi, Darmian and Barella, no?
In terms of all competitions, it is like this:

1. Sommer 2340 minutes
2. Mkhitaryan 2063 minutes
3. Acerbi 2042 minutes
4. Lautaro 2019 minutes
5. Calhanoglu 2016 minutes

If you look at overall season though, it's important to consider international minutes as well. Mkhi probably falls down the list quite a bit as he has played 0 international minutes.

I kind of understand Inzaghi in terms of keeping Mkhi for 90 minutes, even though I'd prefer him to get more rest. Even if he looks tired, Mkhi has this ability to get bursts of energy in terms of his forward runs in the last minutes of matches. Just thinking of his assist yesterday and also penalty won vs. Torino in the last minutes.

Regarding Bastoni, I don't think it's about him not being able to play 90 minutes (he's played 90 minutes 13 times this season) but he is a lot more involved in our attacking play than someone like Acerbi. Even though Bastoni plays as a centreback, he doesn't have the typical role a centreback in a back 4 would have - centrebacks in a back 4 rarely ever get subbed off but they do not contribute as much to attacking play as someone like Bastoni does.

I do agree on Darmian though - the guy really needs a rest. Even yesterday, there were a few instances where he was just late to the ball and you can tell he's gassed. I would have considered putting on Bisseck and letting Pavard play the role for a bit, if Buchanan wasn't ready for whatever reason. I do think Buchanan should have played given how much we had the game under control and how well we were playing in attack - it would have been a good situation for him to get some minutes.

Excellent point about Bastoni. He's getting subbed off semi-regularly because his role is much more taxing than Acerbi's, or even the RCBs (whoever is playing there). Bastoni is our go-to CB when it comes to attacking. And running up and down the pitch is taxing.

Also in general, players have different stamina's and Mkhitaryan is clearly a freak of nature in a sense and Inzaghi is using that. I think the problem for us and him is that if he overplays Mkhitaryan and the guy picks up an injury.

what about distance covered? I tried to find it but couldn't. It could give some perspective how tired this players are compare to other. especially our wide center backs

I am not pleased by his managing today. What is happening with Dumfries? If Darmian is our first choice for rwb that is not good. Our right side is no longer a threat to opposition. And he needs to rotate more, team will eventually slump if he continues to play same first team over and over.

Winning a Scudetto here would make him as one of the greatest coaches of this club. He's already there in term of stats but him not being able to deliver in the league is a huge let down, so hopefully this season he's getting the job done.

I appreciate how he's managed to turn things around and make the group united, but there's still work to do, but sometimes I think management is letting him down.

I thought we had a complete squad back in summer, but I was wrong. There's a huge gap between our starting eleven and bench options, especially in attack. I wish we could be able to see what's Inzaghi capable of doing with better players.

After winning Scudetto with Conte I thought we reached the maximum.

And after reaching the CL final I thought we also reached the maximum. But here we are, still winning firing and winning trophies. Scudetto left.

He will definitely rotate our midfield against Fiorentina lol

I'm not putting him as one of our greats if he doesn't win the Scudetto this year. Sure, he doesn't have the luxury of going against someone with 0 coaching experience, but we are the fav from the beginning of the season. So far he's done a marvelous job, but Scudetto or bust

I feel management dropped the ball for the attack. It's very difficult for Inzaghi to rotate as there is a huge drop off. When it comes to midfield, I do think Inzaghi could have rotated better though. Frattesi might not be a perfect fit for the style but I assume it was a signing agreed upon between management and Inzaghi. The fact that Frattesi and Asllani have 1 start combined in the league is where Inzaghi should have given them some more chances so we don't have to see them together for the first time in an away game vs. Fiorentina.

He really needs to find a way to give Darmian some rest. Today was the chance to give Buchanan minutes. Napoli had no threat on that side after Kvara went off and we needed pace and one-on-one ability from Buchanan. Darmian just could not offer anything at all - all of his crosses were poor and he just looked drained.

Curious as to how he approaches the Fiorentina match. I have a feeling it will be similar to rest of the bigger matches away from home where we start off sitting back. Probably even more so as I don't think he trusts Frattesi/Asllani to be able to keep possession in the same way Barella/Hakan can.

Frattesi's strengths can be beneficial against teams that attack us and leave space. Fiorentina has approached games differently lately though - they even played 3 at the back a few times and seemed more defensive in some of the matches I watched them - I believe Italiano hinted at the tiredness of the team in those matches. They're actually the only team in Italy that have played more games this season than we have given they had Conference League qualifiers and went further in the Coppa Italia.
