Considering our limited options forr this match this is the lineup i am expecting for Spalletti:

Soares- De Vrij- Miranda- D'Ambrosio
Nainggolan- Vecino- Asamoah
Politano- Icardi/ Lautaro- Perisic

Even if Valero and Keita are included in the squad i don't think Spalletti would risk starting them.

Exactly. I have no intention to be laughed at by my friends who support Rapid. The embarrassment after the Schalke game and also Beer Sheva was pretty bad but if we mess up here it will be on another level

Same here, you just cant lose against Rapid right now.

That said, in Europe they werent that bad and with the fans and fighting spirit, they could hurt us.

But normally it should be an easy win.

Yes they were surprisingly good in the group stage. They actually had the most wins in the group but have a goal difference of -3
If we don’t intentionally crush out of EL then of course this is a must win game. Also Rapid hasn’t played a competitive game this year, so chances are they will be a little rusty.

We were kind of lucky. This is definitely that one match where we can do without him. He couldn't have been suspended at a more appropriate time
