I finally expect some better competition between Barca and Real. Mourinho has rebuilded Real and i believe they will do better next year.

Is still think Barca will win it, but it will be closer... And i hope i am wrong :D

FOr my fav, atletico. I am reading reports for many players leaving, but none for going there.the well started by sacking Flores, and start rebuilding process. new CB, new striker, right back, one winger and one passing midfielder is what they need. IF they don't sell Kun and Reyes that is.

Unless Atletico land some awesome signings then they'll probably just implode even more... can't see them beating Real next season, yet again.

Was fcinternews.it reporting today that almost all Spanish clubs are bankrupt?

Has any Barca fan here seen Deulofeu play? I'm watching him vs Ireland U19's and he seems really good.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerard_Deulofeu

Deulofeu has been talked about for at least 4 seasons now...He's been the subject of poaching attempts from the Premiership each of the last 4 seasons, as well

His preferred position is as a winger, typically on the left...Pacy, highly skilled and loves running at players...He's been described as a Cristiano type of player - also has some maturity issues, IMO

Might be the next 'big thing' to come out of the cantera but he's not new on the radar, everyone has been waiting for him to get to this age

Thanks .Didn't realise he was as well known, he seemed very good in the match I saw. I'll be sure to watch him in the final.

All the more impressive, IMO, considering he's a full 2 years younger than most of the players playing...He has been destroying fullbacks in this tournament...His weakness atm is not maintaining his workrate...He sometimes will fail to track back and he's left his defense to be opened up on occasion as a result of it...Perhaps a youth thing that will improve, i hope

Nuri Sahin and Hamit Altintop in Real Madrid,
Arda Turan in Atletico Madrid,
Mehmet Topal in Valencia.

It will be a proud season for Turks, especially the performance Arda may show can shake some ground.

Isnt Arda winger?

Good buy for Atletico imho.. I ahvent seen him, but he is higly rated, and since La Liga is attacking football league, he could shine...

Javi Poves of Gijon quits football aged 24. Dude is upset at the corruption & social mishap that has become football. ...Asked Gijon to terminate his contract & refused to be paid (plus apparently he had turned down a car offered by the club sponsor in the course of his career)...I kinna agree with him. This beautiful sport has become too damn profit based. Gradually turning into some of these monster corporations that I detest.

Oh...so it has nothing to do with the fact that at 24, he has only ever made 1 La Liga appearance?

My bold prediction:

1st) Barca/Real Madrid
2nd) Real Madrid/Barca
3rd) 20 points behind 2nd

Hope Real can take it this season. Not for any love I have of those greedy shits but I do love Mourinho.
